- In 1941, Russia faced the most important point in it's existence. Facing the greatest invasion ever assembled of over 3 million men, tanks and aircraft poured over their border, rolling the Red army back all the way unto the gates of Moscow. In defence of their capital, the Red army counterattacked with all the desperate strength they had, bringing in soldiers from all over the country to stop the capital from falling. In one of the most crucial battles of the second world war, the Soviets stood their ground against Hitler's armies and repulsed them. Though the Germans had gotten close enough to see the sunlight glistening off the Kremlin's golden domes, it would be a fruit they would never reach.

So this can be confusing to people who don't keep up with Sabaton or Radio Tapok, but this is the Radio Tapok song about the Battle of Moskva in general. So Sabaton asked Radio if they were allowed to make a cover of this song that he had made, he said 'Da'. Then Sabaton made Defence of Moscow its a bit different to this song. In the past Radio made covers of Sabaton songs, for example, Panzerkampf, Bismark and so on. But saying that Sabaton asked him if wanted to do a cover of the Attack of the Dead Men before the song and album came out.
So in very short, this isn't the Sabaton version of the song but the original version from Radio Tapok.
Guys, the English translation is kind of... weird. "Raised the regiments to arms" is translated as "lifted the shells into the guns" I'm all for poetic license, but this changes the meaning a lot, and not for the better, in my opinion.
My Russian is extremely poor, I only made this video on demand from other people so I'd like to apologise for the shoddy translation.
Usually I rely on getting Native speakers to help me, but this time all of my Russian friends were extremely busy so I ended up rushing it.
I'll go and change the translation of this line on my copy of the video, so if I ever need to reupload the video, it'll be corrected.
If there are any other lines I fucked up, please give me a correction, I'm aware the translation on this video was substandard.
