So an interesting thing to note is, before the grp debut of ARTMS, the girls released some songs Heejin - Algorithm Haseul - Plastic Candy Odd Eye Circle - Air force one. So Flower Rhythm samples Algorithm and intro of that album Candy crush samples plastic candy Air samples Air force one.
oh if you liked vocals you need to check out Heejins solo album K. its my favorite solo album all time. its really rnb-ish and full of her amazing vocals!
ARTMS are in the same agency as tripleS - MODHAUS. They definitely know how to make music. I will be honestly surprised if there will be a song this year that will top Virtual Angel in my ranking. Btw do you know Pixy? If you like dark concept then you should definitely check them out. The group unfortunately disbanded this year (without an official statement) but they left behind a lot of great music. Definitely check out Addicted and Bewitched, but I recommend starting chronologically with Wings.
So loona had already 3 subunits and odd eye circle was one of them. After the loona members left the company, the odd eye circle members joined the same agency and won the trademark for the same, hence they were able to release songs under the same name. And thus with the 3 members of odd eye circle + 2 members formed ARTMS ( they joined the company made by the original mastermind of loona). Another 5 members debuted as loosemble. Chuu and yves became soloists. Also virtual angel is basically what you said, more like this weird relationship that delusional fans have with idols. Also the reason why the original mv is full of edits and why there is a human eye because, based on bible angels are otherworldly beings where you can't watch/look into them directly. They always appear with the phrase "be not afraid". Now loona had a very big and immersive lore called loonaverse and ARTMS and Loosemble are kind of like continuing it.
I love this album so much i really wish more people listen to this masterpiece. Also if you like r&b and vocals i suggest listening to Stayc's latest album Metamorphic, talk about another masterpiece that not enough people listen to.
i also only just got to this album (it was actually my personal artms deep dive that lead to this vid being recommended to me and finding your solo channel) and we are of the same mind 'cause i was also mad i hadn't heard this sooner it's so SO good - Easily album of the year contender! ( and i also read unf/air as unf-air too. wasn't until i heard them sing the word unfair that it clicked for me haha - i was fully sitting there trying to figure out what unf meant like 'is it german???') also, not sure how into the city pop genre you are, but i feel like this album took a lot of those influences. i don't really have full album recs as i mainly just listen to city pop playlists (specifically 80s/90s Japanese city pop), but here are some city pop artists i like that you might too: Anri, Kaoru Akimoto, Junko Ohashi, Miki Matsubara, Minako Yoshida, 1986 OMEGA TRIBE
Drop the 3 hour loop of you just headbobbing haha, it's a vibe. Great job as always. Also got a rec for you, it's a little older though. This dude's voice is BUTTER. Max Changmin, soloist but also in the group TVXQ. I highly recommend Devil, Fever, and Priority (with Tayeon & Aespa's Winter). They're all completely different vibes. I think he's the best male vocalist in K-pop.
have you checked out red velvet or dreamcatcher? they both do horror red velvet is more creepy and dreamcature is more scary sounding imo. Also red velvets vocals and songs are untouched their bsides are the best ever with artms.

Couldn't agree more! And is wings a single or a ep?
@@FreddyRuizReacts Wings was a single, then every comeback came out as an EP (except for Call Me, which was something of a special single).

Thank you so much for the info, I’ve never actually seen who the Odd Eye Circle members were so I didn’t realize 3 of the girls were also in ARTMS 😂
Please check Mix & Match / Max & Match Album from Odd Eye Circle.
That Album is still The Most Solid 10/10 Album in KPOP history, in my opinion.
I love this album so much i really wish more people listen to this masterpiece.
