It’s amazing how JEFF put as much passion into a Trumpet as he did to a guitar. He was a great musician. I know that he is missed by so many of fans that loved him.
I'm totally blown away! I had no idea Jeff could play the trumpet, and be so good at it. I should know he could play jazz like that. This man was truly amazing! Why do all the good people have to die so young?
Oh how I love this! I used to regularly go and watch the wizards at Healey's on Bathurst when they did Saturday afternoon matinees. It was electric! There wasn't a motionless person in the room. Jeff you left an indelible mark on everyone you touched with your beautiful music. Thank you.
I only heard of him today on Reddit today, but as soon as he started playing I started wondering if he had some jazz connection because of the diatonic nature of his playing. Then I found out he used to host a radio show for jazz back in the day. Amazing talent.
This was absolutely incredible!! Jeff Healey was an amazing man! He is sorely missed. All of these guys are so incredibly talented!! So happy to come across this. It would have been nice to listen to Jeff speak instead of the translator. What a show this was! It was so fun watching Jeff get so excited during the show. Thank you for sharing. RIP Jeff!!
GTFOH. I had no idea cat could play horn. Like that. GTFOH. What a talent he was wow. Thanks for sharing this whole other sensibility that Jeff had that I had no idea of. Wtf this is insane good.
What guts it takes to completely change your artistic style in the middle of a great career. As a guitarist I think Jeff is better as a trumpet player in this particular early 20th century jazz style than he is a flat picking jazz guitarist. Which is a complement. Just goes to show he’s an artist not just a guitar player.
It is neat to see it but im not sure id go so far as change my career. I mean its good and not hating but come on there are high school trumpet players that can do this and more. Its kinda like micheal jordan playing baseball. If he was a nobody i doubt we would be seeing this.

Always heard trumpet was his first instrument and his biggest passion, and guitar was a second or third instrument of his.

Whoa?! Jeff guitars, sings and trumpets. What couldn't you. RIP in heaven, thanks for all your legacy.
You simply cannot stay still when you listening to this kind of masters of music 🎶🎶 Amazing

I had no idea Jeff Healey started playing jazz, and played it so well!!! He was a super talent. Like so many greats, we lost him way too soon.

I didn't know Jeff played jazz. His style is like Django, but more bluesy! Awesome!
Never knew he played trumpet. Awesome!
I found out today and as a guy who used to play, I'm blown away.
There is so much musicality in this. It really makes me feel all the excitement.

Commendable but nothing beats the electric guitar
