Lifeline is the next Legend set to get a rework to her abilities within Apex Legends, similar to what happened with Revenant and his rework.
Lifeline's Rework should include changes to her Passive, Tactical, and Ultimate, plus changed to Supper Legends. We have a look at Lifeline's new abilities gameplay:
-Passive: Combat Revive Same current passive + she can glide in the air for 1.5 seconds by holding on her doc drone, time can be extended with Evo
-Tactical: D.O.C heal drone It's the same current tactical but it can follow you and your teammates, you can command doc and it has physics just like in season 3
-Ultimate: Shockbot 3000 Place a destructible bot that forcefully ejects enemies from the area Bot can be destroyed, bullets can pass through but enemies can't get inside
-NEW support class passive: (Bonus: this is for all support legends) Throw healing items as grenades to heal other players
Lifeline's Rework should release in Apex Legends in Season 22 or Season 23, but things could always change.

I like all the stuff mentioned but I kinda liked the package because it was like my only way to get batteries in later rings
I feel like we should still have care package as normal ult and then the option to either change it out for shockmaster or get the amped care package with lvl3 perk
It’s completely useless end game though… you’ll be able to pull off game saving stunts with the new ult now
@@lareinadepompis2065 Actually the care package is quite useful in the late game! Firstly, OP even mentioned getting batteries + kits in later rings which is actually a game changer. Also, when there's limited cover in the late ring the care package can clutch. Even jumping on-top of the open care package in the midst of battle can hide you enough to save your life and help the team win. I've done it many times strong 💪 though I cannot stress how excited I am to see how this new ultimate and tact perks will change the game, I can already imagine new strategies and way more defense opportunities
If you are playing support, you can open 3-5 support bins per game. Each one averages 2 batts, thats 6-10 batteries a game plus what you take out of deathboxes.
I only struggle for batts if I am not support

Current lifeline ult is a liability end game. This would be very useful. If the goal isn’t to win the game then the current one may be better.
think of it like the combination of gibbyn tac and conduit ult
a new base skin change would be great too, makes it feel like the characters are actually aging with the story and not everything is happening at once

Bro when rev got a rework I was hurt he was my main and when they do that they make you adapt a completely different playstyle and while some people mind not care ND might even like it those of use who likes the character as they were just forced to sit there and look dumb

@@itsamnesia1235 I hate how Revenant got reworked also, even though I dislike playing assault and skirmisher legends. I can’t imagine being a main of a legend, and then seeing their entire identity get completely scrapped for something more meta-friendly. Frankly, I think it is one of the worst things that has happened in the history of Apex Legends since it has opened a gateway for more opportunities like it to occur. So many people say “X legend needs to get the reborn treatment”, completely ignoring the actual fans of the legend. Revenant isn’t bad strength-wise now, but what about the more unique playstyle that focused on silencing and stalking? Revenant’s new abilities feel so generic and crowd-pleasing compared to what they once were.
I like playing support, Crypto is my main. And I don’t know what I would do if he got changed to have, say, a drone that auto follows or one that can no longer pick up banners for the trade off of a shocking ability. There’s no other legend that requires such a unique type of micromanagement.
All I can say is that I feel bad for old Revenant players like yourself, you have this woman’s condolences.

@@robledosieteseis2291uh, I don't think crypto could be a complete counter since you would need to throw the drone, then ult, and then kill them. Considering how much damage the last ring makes plus the fact they'll be probably shooting you, I don't see it as effective as you might think it is

It was. His old Ult was way to strong when paired with other legends, like Octanes Jump pad(Or Ash portal iirc.). They struggled with balancing it(without making it useless as a standalone) for a while and decided to just replace his abilities with new ones.
His abilities were not aligned with his personality
It really was... If you recall he was one of the least picked legends (next to Newcastle) as well as one of the least usefull being rated as the worst legend on most pros tier lists. Now hes among the best legends in the gane as well as maintaining a healthy pickrate. I'd take off the rose tinted glasses and remember just how bad he used to be
So basically they made killing lifeline the priority if a team has on. You will be a🎯
killing healers has always been a priority in shooters tho. nothing new. that's why healers shouldn't entry frag

that dome pushing everyone out should be disabled for final circle closing in, as that seems like it would be op and keep enemies outside the ring as it closes smaller and smaller
how many games actually make it to a ring that small though? and if they did, you are in close enough range that any ult would be effective. Horizon pulls them out, octane bounces them out, bang/gibby bust them up.

Honestly lifeline just needs to have her own exclusive top tier loot in her care package that’s better than any in game loot.
I just said the same it should give attachments or backpacks that you "actually" need!! they've done it with the extended supply bins.. The Bubble sound/looks dum.. or make her a real "Lifeline" Let her be the only legend that doesn't have to get banners or craft them she automatically gets them? An Extra Lifeline,

To be honest, as a casual lifeline main: I don't think she needs the full reborn treatment, but she was a launch legend, and is underwhelming in play style and play making abilities compared to other legends. All she has is her drone and package, which have little to no use inside of combat, unless you're really good at her. The best you're gonna do is either have good mechanical skill, or use her drone as cover/care package to block doorways, in each case other legends provide that util better. I loved the current lifeline kit, and don't think it needs all this, though. Guessing they're tryna milk a prestige skin.

Vantage's sniper ult is really good if you're already good with sniper. The bullet travels faster and with less drop than the sentinel and applies a dmg buff. First shot is 50 dmg next shot is 100 dmg, if you manage to get 3 body shots in quick succession it's a guaranteed down. And the dmg buff also applies to your teammates. The only thing that's god awful is that big ass laser that can be spotted from the other side of the map.
Vantage is far from useless. Lol in the right hands the vantage player will have prime position for end zone
the new respawn game balancing team strategy is they will buff and rework every legends at some point. contrary to the old respawn team that nerfing every legends till the game balanced.
Because of the bubble. Depending on all that it really does. They should change Gibbys bubble. Allow you to shoot from inside all while still being protected. Similar to Rampart but without the extra damage

Didn't they get rid of the res shield because it basically gave teams free revives? You're basically doing that again by adding a dome people can't enter.

Uhhhh that ultimate sounds dangerously OP. Literally any situation where blocking off a route ends with the other team in ring for one thing. Dropping that on the final ring would be a basically guaranteed win, especially if you can overlay Gibby's shield on top of it.
it sounds like it has a destructable core like a seer ult. give it a nade or team fire. also its probably countered by things like grapple or ash ult

Easy buff could be her drone heals you and your teammates but drains enemies health at a rate like caustics gas or faster. Also with drone following her around.

@djbr12 they could give him a dash if his shield is available that pushes people like a Maggie ball and add health to his arm shield and make it take damage from how many people it hits so it's not super op. Might make the bubble play more effective but won't mean much out in the open aside from maneuverability. This is all head cannon but still
It doesn't block damage like Gibby's shield tho. And given both shields will be in the game, a Gibby/life shield combo would be op in locking down a building atleast long enough to reset.

The last thing we need is another rev situation. They butchered his role as an assassin, and now they're butchering lifeline's role as a support. Lifeline is meant to be a combat medic, helping the team. Not a flying skirmisher with some support capabilities. Might as well move her to the skirmisher class.
Why would they rework her… they literally just put the perk system in and wanna change her in 2-3 seasons. Her purple shield perk which allows her to get a guaranteed gold knock is good
Her rework ult looks like conduit ult but just one and doesn’t shock but repulse ppl out, even if her rework ult is somehow good u can’t beat a guaranteed evo cache and a gold knock
Her new perks make her borderline broken tbh. Healing drone constantly with little to no downtime and a gold package that nearly always brings a gold knock 🤔
@@truevanpencil5403 people wanna complain about lifeline needing a buff and now when she does she somehow getting a rework… I could see they changing the guaranteed gold knock for a guaranteed purple knock and gold if everyone has a purple for every care package so you’ll get a gold in 2-4 care package but to give her some sorta movement and rework her ult because they want her to be more of a “combat medic” is stupid

This paired with Castles Ult and Watson's Ult, or even Gibby's Dome and Watson can be crazy. Throw this in a tunnel or hard pinch area and it's a good escape

my only question is now, with the removal of her upgrade for red evo & gold knockdown + self rez, will EA be implementing changes to bring back gold knockdown in loot pool + having self rez back or completely abolished. I genuinely like the state of how Lifeline is currently, the changes seem to be good as well, but they finally made the care package more worthwhile for team usage (the fast rate of how it drops + the items) you get from it. The care package used to be mediocre, but i’m curious to see how everything plays out.

Idk about her alt, it sounds good, and is something to help defend against a push which i think we need more of. But what if its in a room, will it telaport you outside of the room, or pin you to the wall not allowing you to move. And end circle, just push them into the ring. I think itll be a good change.

Similar to gibby, i wonder if Maggie ult can pop her dome. If it does, around the time of her rework, a lot of maggies would be running around to counter her too
But like.... how would the ult work in buildings? If someone is in a corner and the drone goes out, does it just keep them against the wall? Or is it one of the abilities that doesn't activate if it doesn't have the room to do so? How will it work on defensive teams? Will it break character items like wattson fences?... i have many questions. It seems like a lack luster trade for the character. Especially since you can still fire through it... its like an area denial with only the endgame circle being the real utility.
Lifelines ult should be a med staff that she can target heal allies through walls and such but only for a limited amount then the staff breaks but no time limit. Would you fantastic, and the melee action is a knock back shock thing ❤
In the future we should be able to choose our players Ult within perk upgrades.
The shock not 3000 will be worth less in open fields unless it negates all damage & I also feel like it will be better used inside of a room or sectioned off area

That 1.5 second glide is so 50/50. (Unless it’s as fast as Vantage) I don’t want that honestly past gold you’ll just be flatlined (literally and figuratively) out of the air. Give me an instant pick up that resets at 25 health, 75 shield (passive health regen for resee after res) and call it even. Everything else looks magnificent though can’t wait to main her again 🔥
I think they should still bring back the drone shield when getting revived
so basically a destructible gibby bubble enemies can’t get inside..idk about the whole following her whole team around. seems like that could get glitchy with a lot of ppl fighting in a small space like end zone esp if there’s many teams but hey i love the chaos so bring it on. i would kinda prefer gibbys bubble to deal damage or stun when enemies enter his bub

I was super worried thinking it was going to be as drastic as revenant. This isn't so bad. Idk how she is going to glide and heal, though. I use her ult maybe once for its intended purpose, then it gets regulated to being called for a drastically needed survival item or as cover.

This sounds like it can be game breaking in the final closing circle. You’re trying to get in to avoid the ring, but can’t and die, simply because your opponent pressed a button to activate their ultimate.
I wish I could say that they are thinking about this- but they have a really really bad track record with playtesting things.
They should’ve added a level 1 shield to team mates being revived, or at least allow the team mates to moved while the DOC revives them.
Finally I don't gotta keep going in a circle around the drone while I'm forced to shoot back at a 3rd team lol

Damn seems pretty op. So she still has the worst thing about her kit, the auto revive, but now it’s just better some how? A much better heal which I’m assuming only stays attached while walking. And an ult that seems like it would work through walls and just keeps anyone from entering an area. Since it’s destructible does it also have a timer?
I've been a Lifeline main since the start of the game & reached Diamond 2 with her. I can honestly say with my experience of every version of her she does not need this rework. Her current version is perfect

I gotta say, reworking legends that desperately need a rework as a “rerelease” of a legend that already exists, is genius to compensate for not receiving a new legend every season anymore. Hope we see more legends reworked down the line. Freshening things up. With legends getting new kits, we essentially do get a new legend to learn, but it’s not adding to the pool since it’s an existing character
