Adolf Hitler himself was a man of the arts BEFORE going into politics. He tried to become an artist but was rejected by art schools around his home, so he turned to politics. (Nice going art schools who I will leave unnamed).
My history teacher said that he got injured in World War I and it permanently messed with his ability to draw.
PinkiePie97 Still, I googled Adolf Hitler paintings, (even looked at Wikipedia a little), and his paintings don't look bad.
So did I, and I agree with you, but he could've made them before the war.
PinkiePie97 Indeed. But if he was accepted in the art school, he could've learned how to improve his artwork even with that wound.
Heavenlyhounds96 too bad he became an unlikeable scumbag.
UPDATE ADDITIONS:
2016 - Kong: King of the Apes
2017 - Kong: Skull Island
2021 - Godzilla vs. Kong
SOON TO BE RELEASED:
- Skull Island (Netflix Anime)
- Son of Kong (MonsterVerse)
I can tell that the next Animation Lookback will be about a famous anime movie creator who made so many great anime films since the 80's, until his retirement in 2013.
This King Kong movie would never have existed if it hadn't influenced Ray Harryhausen.
9:34 Even if he was a ruthless killer, he was still human in a way. 9:40 Being the disney fan that I am, Im surprised I did NOT know that XD
This is my top 10 of best Stop Motion movies:
10)Frankenweenie
9)The Boxtrolls
8)Chicken Run
7)Mary and Max
6)Pirates! The band of misfits
5)ParaNorman
4)Fantastic Mr Fox
3)Wallace and Gromit: The curse of the were rabbit
2)Shaun the Sheep Movie
1)A tie beetween Coraline and Kubo and the two strings
Martín Loquendero Am I the one who thinks the boctrolls needs a sequel
Where are all the Ray Harryhausen classics? He was the best of the best at stop motion
@@andyk2607 I forgot to watch his movies.
@@martinloquendero1460 You must watch the seventh voyage of sinbad and jason and the Argonauts. Truly amazing films and Ray's stop motion work is incredible
@@andyk2607 I'll do it.
5:21
Great sketch there
King Kong tragically died during the fire on 6/1/2008. Fortunately, with the help of Peter Jackson, they were able to resurrect Kong with CGI and make him even more awesome!
9:36 I guess that's where the idea of Walt Disney hating jews came from?
Fay Wray: I love her and her Aria of the Agonies (What she called her screams)! And yes she did ask if she was going to meet Gary Cooper! She also had some part in the 2005 remake. She approved of Naomi Watts as Ann, and planned to appear in the movie to deliver the iconic final line of the movie. Sadly, she died before she could do so.

Animat: Now it's time , for the honorable mentions
Kirb: Poyo
Truly an incredible video that helped me and many others learning about one of the greatest films in history
That idea of the sequel to the 1976 remake made me face palm so many times that I think I have a concussion.
I hope the lookback will be specifically Ghibli. There is enough to discuss in the one company to be covered in several videos. I would EVENTUALLY like to see maybe a lookback in the development of Japanese animation or lookbacks that will discuss companies like Madhouse but Ghibli is just in a league of its own.
Well this was a fun lookback.
7:59 THAT. IS. EPIC.
Nightmare B4 Christmas is only #2?! I call boo on you!
Nah, jk Chicken Run is pretty great as well.
It don't got singing skellingtons in it though.
Cooper at first was going to have Kong climbing up The Chrystler Building or Woolworth because Empire didn't exsist yet. When it was completed though, he got the idea of Kong climbing up Empire State, it was said by Peter Jackson in the documentary Kong's New York 1933.
Anybody here before godzilla vs Kong fans came knocking on your door
really happy with your top ten. Chicken Run is such a great movie
Hitler actually loved both King Kong and Snow White at 9:30
Truly amazing King Kong was
Diego Raf Diaz's Oinion: Icons of Stop Motion
1. Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer
2. Wallace
3. Gromit
4. Gumby
5. Jack Skellington
6. Will Vinton's Stop Motion Dinosaurs
7. King Kong
8. Santa Clause
9. Peter Cottontail
10. Multiple Lego Characters (You decide between Brickfilms on UA-cam and The Lego Movie)
America's Most Greatest Hero Of All Time!
Well I can't unsee the part where you talk about king kongs inspiration.
The next one has to be Studio Ghibli
Great video! King Kong is the best film of all time!
And Godzilla
Dunno if anybody else mentioned this, but nice Kirby pictures on your wall in the opening Mat.
Also nice opening in general.
Poyo
the scene where kong drops the girl was not deleted. it was taken out of the 1938 re-release.
Really looking forward to Kong: Skull Island.
Were you impressed of disappointed?
Have loved this movie since I was 12!
OK hold on how could Hitler not only a Jew hater but one of the most famous war criminals of all time love this and freakin Snow White a Disney film?
That's like if Jeff the Killer loves The Godfather & MLP Equestria Girls.
Well animated movies were a completely new trend like how transportations like steam trains, steamboats, steam airships, and even electric trains were in the Victorian Era, a.k.a Industrial Revolution a.k.a Modern Transportation Era.
I tho he gonna say Ray Harryhausen .
Nice look back.
You talked about honourable mentions in the intro, was Wallace And Gromit's World Of Invention out when you first made this series? How about the animated series of Creature Comforts? They'd both have deserved a mention if that was the case.
I take it the next lookback will be something to do with anime. I'm not a fan of anime, but it should be fun.
That log was moving by itself.
10:44 It’s actually King Kong vs. Godzilla
I literally saw some Family Guy DVDs at the beginning. I thought those were some VHSs. I also spotted a bunch of GameCube games.
16:48 "a Bus Trip to Japan" Does That Mean You're Going to do Godzilla Next?
Uh, you're a year late dude. It's Studio Ghibli
Gregory The Gamer Oh
I think because he mean that we will take a cat bus to japan
@Brandon Brooks yeah but at least Kong’s live action too rather if he’s stop motion, CG or a suit!
What movie did you get the clips from at the 1:27 Mark
9:06 March 23rd was my birthday
You know what I can't wait for the new King Kong movie call Kong skull island that is coming out this year!

I Just Wanna say...Dude..You are So Fucking Impressive..
Good Job !! 👍👍
4:06 i just passed away!
8:02 I knew BigJack Films knew more about King Kong than you. That was cut because it stopped the story.
You should make a New Animation Lookback For King Kong,
You´ve Done it with Disney you can do it For Monkeh too.
You shouldn't be so surprised that Adolf Hitler loved King Kong. In actuality, he was something of a cinephile who had his own private theater built in his Bavarian mountain estate, Bechtesgaden. He spent a lot of time watching movies with Eva Braun, Joseph Goebbels, and Albert Speer. You don't hear about these things as much because there's long been a consensus among historians to not humanize Hitler in the years following WW2.
Moreover, there's always been an undercurrent within historical scholarship itself to only provide these little anecdotes of relatable human frailties to the larger than life "heroes" of history; such as George Washington, Frederick the Great, Abraham Lincoln, or Mohandas Ghandi. Whereas the "villains" of history; such as Hitler, Caligula, Napoleon, or Idi Amin will only ever have their more bizarre and perverse quirks recounted and expounded upon. Most people don't know that Hitler loved movies, or that Josef Stalin was actually a great singer who loved to spend hours at his private dacha estates singing over opera records and planting trees in his expansive gardens. But almost everyone can tell you that Winston Churchill had a penchant for brandy, cigars, and being a nudist when he wasn't on the clock. That's just the reality of things it seems.
0:42 godzilla? no it kong what is a king to god
🙄
Deja vu
16:55
Studio Ghibil 😊
Can you make a new one on the stop motion holiday specials
What Are The Names Of The Music For This Video?
and king kong was also the inspiration for one of the most populair game hero / villain
Donkey Kong
Dante Toska but Nintendo must got some inspiration from king kong? i mean big gorilla, kidnapped a pretty lady and Climbing a big building
nathan prins Nope, Nintendo originally wanted to create an Popeye game but they didn't have a license for that and it would be nearly impossible because they were a small company back then. Thus they had made "Donkey Kong".
@@cofagrigusfan24 The dong*
Wait a minute! How the heck did you get the original version of the Spider Pit scene? I thought that scene was either lost or never filmed.
I have seen the Peter Jackson movie and those clips looks too old to be from that movie.
You should do every stop motion!
I can't believe Adolf Hitler loves King Kong.
lets not forget kong skull island back in 2017 and Kong's possible rematch with Godzilla sometime in the future.

Anyone else reminded of Andy Rooney of TV's "60 Minutes?" "Did you ever wonder...?"
I had no idea there was a deleted "bug pit" scene in the original King Kong. I thought that was just something Peter Jackson thought up. :o Now I have to go find the footage...
No . The Original Footage Of 1933 King Kong Deleted Scene "Spider Pit" Are Considered Destoryed A Long Time Ago . There Is A Memo For The Producer , Explain The Reason Why It's Deleted Because 2 Reason
- RKO People And Test Audience Are Traumatized With This Scene
- Phasing Reason
The Reason Why We Know About The "Spider Pit" Scene Was Because A 1977 Magazine Show The Film Still Of The Scene . Nowadays The Peter Jackson Recreation Of The Scene Was Probably The Closest One To The 1933 Version .
9:27 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
Pingu was a stop motion tv show but it was about a penguin having fun in the North Pole with his friends
+electric dragon 505 what is the music at the end?
You're wasting your time asking. He literally never responds to comments
King Kong is my favorite giant monster movie!
After you do Studio Ghibli can you do Blue Sky and add to the Disney, DreamWorks and Pixar lookbacks
Webkinz Aholic Animat wasn't going to add to Disney... he was going to REMAKE his Disney episode... which does mean more films will be talked about.
Good videos
good list.
King Kong is my 2nd favorite movie every.
The first is Ingagi?
Bertrand D No, it’s Godzilla
Also the craziest thing when I looked up some research on Google Maps will you go that little part of Australia the two horns of Australia you can go so deeply you can see Skull Island yes people it's not fake it's actually real
You should have made this video with BigJackFilms as he’s a King Kong Fan and even has a King Kong review series
Glad someone thought the same. These two really oughta make a video sometime together
So what one the best Nintendo Donkey Kong or Universal King Kong
So went one Nintendo or Universal of best kong
"Fantastic Planet" is a cel-animation movie, not a stop-motion animated movie.
You forgot that in 1981 universial studios sued Nintendo for donkey kong but Nintendo won
So, AFTER Studio Ghibli, are you going to do Rankin Bass?
ajzeg01 I don't think he is. I don't even know if there'd be that much material to talk about.
9:28
YES!!!! STUDIO GHIBLI'S NEXT!!!!! :D
Wrong, Godzilla is the most famous monster in the world, even more now that the Godzilla 2014 film was just released last year and there will be more films coming out after it.
They pretty equal
Scarlett Savage correction the most famous monster in the world is Oprah Winfrey
XAVIERCUERVO
XDDDDD
Scarlett Savage kong was the first movie monster and was an inspiration for Godzilla
To be contunied in animation look back studio gibli
5:33 Also what?
4:59 It's Jack Driscoll not Jack Distrol. LOL
And again I ask, WHY DID ANIMAT NOT TALK ABOUT RANKIN BASS?!?!? Even as an honorable mention he says nothing about Rankin Bass?!?!?!?
Can you please do a history of godzilla
Talking about Hitler's favourite movies: Ironically he liked Charlie Chaplin's "The Great Dictator" and it's been said he saw it seven times in the theatre.
Nice Acting
1933 Ann Darrow desrved to be tranquilized than Kong. I'm sick of her recycled screaming.
can you please do a godzilla video
09:30 LMAO
