Saree is such a cumbersome, time-consuming, money-wasting (the numerous color coordinating accompaniments it requires is exasperating to say the least!!!), revealing, uncomfortable, utterly impractical and exhausting outfit. Best worn rarely and in silk and only for very, very formal, short functions or occasions where you are sure to be chaperoned in an air-conditioned car to an air-conditioned banquet hall - if young mothers, ensuring they have their nannies in tow to carry the babies and lug their essentials. Goodness me, what a bother!

കൊള്ളാം. പക്ഷെ ആ ഇടത് വശം കുറച്ച് ശരിയാക്കാൻ ഉണ്ട്. ഇടതുവശത്തുള്ള ആദ്യത്തെ pleat അങ്ങ് വിടുക.എന്നിട്ട് pin കുത്തിയതിന് ശേഷമുള്ള സാരിയുടെ ഭാഗം പിടിച്ചു വലതു ഭാഗത്ത് പാവാടയിൽ കുത്തിവയ്ക്കുക.ഇനി pleats പാവാടയ്ക്കുള്ളിലേയ്ക്ക് ഭംഗിയായി പിടിപ്പിക്കുക.❤

All these people are doing the demo with very very soft sarees only.They are very easy to handle and wear.but stiff sarees like silk ,Bengal cotton only difficult to wear.

Nice demo. The slimmer one is, the more centre pleats they can get. Fatter women will get only 4-5 centre pleats with a shorter pallu or 3 pleats with a slightly longer pallu since most saris sold are standard size of 6-6.5 yards.

Thank you very much 🙏 yes true that the slimmer would get more pleats, however the fatter women too can get more Pleats with a simple technique. Measure each Pleats to 3 inch only and then see more pleats 💜

This was better than what am seeing for very long time.
But I must admit my fingers are tiny and start paining while making pleats (especially around waist).
I suffer from carpel tunnel syndrome.
Am unable to hold very long.
And it gets messed up.
Anyway we can make both waist pleats and shoulder pleats before wearing saree.
