- ALMA recently released a new feature called ALMA Telehealth. It will be replacing the Zoom accounts they have been providing to therapist as part of their membership. A lot of therapist use ALMA to grow their private practices. This will be a big change. Some people may choose to stay with ALMA while others may move to Simple Practice or other platforms. I’m glad that I continued to pay for my own HIPAA compliant version of Zoom. I prefer zoom because I can share worksheets and clients can now “write” on them. I have several whiteboard templates saved, like the DBT behavior chain analysis, wise mind, etc. that both the client any myself can write and take notes on during sessions.
You can also upload your existing PDF worksheets to the whiteboard and write or type on them.
That sounds amazing. I would love to learn how to do this.

Alma is acting like an employee
I have Alma,Headway, cash pay and Simple practice but figured i would use what comes with simple practice. Now im wondering if I shouldn't make it seamless for my patients and just get Zoom

By any chance do you need a long term video editor? I saw your video is pretty raw style. I would like to edit you videos and thumbnails if you want to be consistent in youtube and wanna grow in long term to gain more reach. I work with other creators in this field. @@matthewryanLCSW I’ve been using it for the past 4 years or so. It’s free and hippa compliant. Clients are able to log into their session with just clicking onto a link that you send them, no code or anything. It works somewhat similar to zoom with an online waiting room. Just didn’t know if anyone was using it at your practice
