I’m a right handed picker.
You’re right about neck up on my left leg.
When I’m sitting the guitar is hanging from my strap and when I stand up nothing changes except maybe a bit of the fretboard angle.
All the above was learned way late in my struggle learning to stand up and play guitar.
After I learned that, everything became way better.
