Always loved this song, even talked my old band into doing a cover of it. ( audience reaction was fantastic, it was great to see the looks of recognition on the older hippies faces..) I would love to see you react to more Moodies, and I agree , Biz-- There's an extra element of mysticism that comes across in their music, for those who are tuned in. Have you heard "Legend of a Mind" by The Moody Blues yet? It's pretty epic , if you haven't.
Thanks, brother, I hadn't heard this for decades, I'd forgotten how good it was. It's nice to see you back...1971 was one of the greatest years in music ever..Led Zeppelin IV..Sticky Fingers ..Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore..Who's Next..Pearl, Janis Joplin's last album ..L.A. Woman..Pink Floyd Meddle..the list goes on and on...
The Moodies were like a more progressive Beatles, with great music and great schlyrics. Hayward is one of the greatest songwriters of all. Lodge and the others aren't so bad either. Pinder wrote some very great masterpieces for the band. He played mellotron, and was basically Merlin.
My uncle who is only 6 years older than me gave me this album when I was a kid. I think he wasn't too thrilled with it, but I was thrilled to get it! Don't hear the song too often anymore, but it was a pretty big hit. ✌️❤️🤟🥁
One of the best concerts I ever attended was The Moody Blues and Chicago. It was a combo of my late father's favorite band (The Moody Blues) and my favorite band (Chicago)
Love the Moody Blues and Whiter Shade of Pale BUT that's the only Moody Blues thumbnail, I EVER see while scrolling through UA-cam. Thank you doing this song! 💞
great reaction except for 1 major thing, you should have played the lead intro to this song called "Procession" in order to understand The Story. Procession is the history of music/communication from the beginning of time to the electric guitar and i promise you that it will take you on a journey
OK, I'm bringing it up again. I've actually left you alone about it for quite some time. You said you want to review albums. Here I go again, Leftoverture is a masterpiece in its entirety. It went platinum and launch the band into the stratosphere. I hope you take us through this journey. I'm so happy you are back!! This review of the Moody Blues was awesome. I forgot about this song and how much I loved it.
I never really got into the Moody Blues at all, just didn't appeal to me much. But I remember when I was like 12 years old I went to school with this girl who I thought was super cute and she loved the Moody Blues. If we'd been a few years older, I probably would have gotten into this music so I would have something to talk to her about.
🤔oh'''I was thinking this was a different song', but this is one of their songs that turns fans away''', too mediocre and actually just a "Filler" song, to make a complete album'😏
Been a fan of the Moodiest for nearly 50 years.... And they can still give me goosebumps when I heard them.
Moody Blues were a band for fledgling FM radio back in the day. FM played longer cuts and stuff that didn't sound right on AM radio.
I was twelve when this was released. Loved it the first time I heard it and still do. Glad you’re back.
This song rocks!🎸🔥
Hell yes! He back!
Yesssirrrr
Fantastic, iconic, pioneering band. None better. Glad I got to see them in concert! And this is a great song. What a beginning.

I was 12. And I know how extraordinarily lucky I am!
Definitely one of my favorites from the Moody Blues.
Love your reaction. Thanx for reading those lyrics. I often miss the words in songs. It really does stand as a poem. Yes more Moody Blues! ❤❤❤
Absolutely!!
The Moodys were an awesome band. I got to see them twice. Their shows were amazing.
Great seeing ya Biz .. A must check out is Isn't Life Strange live video from Royal Albert Hall .. It's guaranteed to leave you speechless brother

Moody Blues are brilliant. Lovely melody and very deep lyrics. Always welcome more...

Tuesday Afternoon… my absolute favourite Moody Blues song .

You get the Moodies. I'm Happy for you! I've been getting them since 1967. You have been blessed. I'm a lyric man too!
Thank you
A great album.
Yes, in my opinion, there is a rich spiritual thread that runs through the lyrics of many Moody Blues songs.
Great! Thanks for reading some of the lyrics. Never did that before. Thanks for reacting!
If you do album reviews then The Moody Blues are an album group.
My favourites
On the Threshold of a Dream
A Question of Balance.
My favorite is probably To Our Children's Children's Children...
Only you would dig this deep! And it will be worth it! The lyrics are the best. Thank You! Nice reaction
🎹🎼🎵🔊❤
Love the MBs. Thanx Biz ☘️🇺🇲
They got more out of that mellotron than any band back then ! When called on the guitar chops were there too although the Moodies weren’t known for it
Love the Moody Blues and Whiter Shade of Pale BUT that's the only Moody Blues thumbnail, I EVER see while scrolling through UA-cam. Thank you doing this song! 💞
Whiter shade of pale is Procol Harem, I am guessing you meant Knights in White Satin
@@bluebird3281 whoa, I must have had major brain lapse!! I know better than that. How embarrassing. 🫣🤣
