actually, you didnt get the right peppers either, but due to a technicality. for the past year or so, theres been a shortage of whats called 'cascabella' peppers, which are yellow like pepperoncini, but are vastly different. so in essence, you tried a completely new version of the secret items with the banana peppers instead. kinda neat

I used to live in Baldwin Park as a kid and eating at that original In-N-Out. My first high school job was In-N-Out in Redondo Beach California. Good food and good memories !
It's funny. I grew up in Baldwin Park too, and ate at the original location there through high school (my water polo team mates worked at that one then before it was torn down). I now live in Torrance, but frequently out in Redondo. I frequent the one in Torrance off Del Amo. I'm not sure if the Redondo Beach location you mention is off Crenshaw and Lomita. If so, I've dined at this one as well--and recently caught a foreign tourist taking pictures of the menu there. I was laughing inside a bit observing this. It's just crazy how popular In-N-Out's reputation has grown even outside the country compared to when I was growing up and was a little known regional burger chain still confined to California, and mostly southern California. Now I see people standing in insane lines in pop up locations from Australia to South Korea to London.

Remember guys, it’s spread sauce not animal sauce. You can just say chilis when asking for the peppers cus I’ve never heard sport pepper being used. And medium rare can be asked for, just depends on the state too like Texas can’t do medium rare. For the shakes side by side isn’t a term they use just tell them which flavor you want and half what other one you want lol
They bought the food at the In-N-Out restaurant on the other side of the 10 freeway just a block away from the museum location. The In-N-Out University is in that same lot as that restaurant.
I don't know why the fries get a lot of hate. I really like that they're made fresh and not frozen like other fast food joints. I like them animal style.
Fries well done with a packet of salt is what the folks complaining about the fries should order. Although for older people the default lower salt content is great.
They have always used fresh ground chuck. That’s why you can order the burger medium. I use to go to the original one in the sixties and there was always a line up (fast)of cars! They use to have flour dusted buns. Always delicious!!😛
The price is also cheaper than McDonalds and the burger is better quality. They treat their employees better than any other fast food chain and they make $22 an hour here in Northern California. I love their burgers. It’s simple not doing too much and just delicious!
In-N-Out is the only spot I go to regularly. There is no other fast food spot in America that has high quality ingredients, great customer service, consistently fresh, and most importantly for a good price. Other companies need to take note!

Come on? If you are a good reporter you would get the facts right! That replic is the site of the second location of INO! The first location was demolished to build the 10 freeway! All burgers at INO do not come with pickles! You have to ask for pickles on your burgers. When you order animal style, it automatically comes with pickles. So it’s not “extra” pickles!
I never order pickles because I forget that I don't want them and always have to take them off. This is on a regular burger, never had to ask for pickles at any of the INO's in Cal or Az.
I miss In-N-Out Burger so much. I was in California in 2015 and I went a few times over 15 days as it's that good lol ;D I'm hoping to finally go back this October, it's been way too long. Sending stomach rumbling all the way from Dublin, Ireland.
I grew up near there in Baldwin Park in the 1990s and grew up eating at the original location, albeit its second iteration. My parents and I were ordering from the secret menu back in the late 80s through 90s. That 2nd iteration was torn down and the original replica museum shown in the video here built in its place. A new bigger restaurant was built across the I-10 along with an In-N-Out store. My high school was just down the street, and remember some of my water polo team mates working at the original location around 2000. Before the headquarters were moved to Irvine, they were in Baldwin Park. They still have its main In-N-Out University (yes its a thing--and all employees had to train there at one point) and distribution center in Baldwin Park. Co-founder Esther Snyder who took over In-N-Out reins back in 2000 as president also donated to the Baldwin Park Community Center and Senior Center, named after her. To this day, I don't think any other local city center has as nice facilities for residents both young and old--an indoor pool, showers, gym, boxing rink, basketball court, etc. ping pong table area, etc. and a brand new conference and event center, and outdoor playgrounds. The elegant entrance also displays athletic achievements by its many K-12 students. I think this lady loved the city where they set up and lived at one point as much as its residents grew up loving In-N-Out. And of course they always paid their employees quite well.
You cannot go to in-and-out anywhere in California at any hour of the day without an hours wait... each location quite possibly serves a thousand people a day...
They're really the best fast food around. Fresh, affordable, fast, friendly, professional staff, clean locations, open late. Makes it very difficult to return to any of the others after you have gone there. One day they will get even wiser and also capture the breakfast market currently owned by McDonalds and the others.
In n Out: we'll only put a few items on the menu to make it simple and make it easier for workers to push out food. People: I'll have the triple blackflip grilled double 6/7th, onions graduated from college, sweating with angst, extra double fried fries but only for alternating fries, sauce fermented from 3 suns ago as of this moment. oh also a chocolate shake.

I like In N Out a lot but McDonald’s has a huge demand for breakfast. Cruise around the fast food places at 10:15 am and you will see the McDonald’s line is out on the street while the other places have very few people or no one in line. I prefer McDonalds fries over in n out, but I’ll take a double double over a Big Mac any day.
Eat fresh lol. I order my fries light well and they are always perfect! I also say extra well done on my burger but that’s a hit and miss🤷🏻♀️ My son likes light fries and always orders 4 X 1. My daughter orders grilled cheese with lettuce😆. I am fortunate enough to have one 1.4 miles.
This was spot on about the secret menu. My wife has been woring at In n Out for 8 years. All the employees hate when customers come in and try to order stupid things not on the secret menu. Like "monkey style." When they tell the customer they dont make that, the customer begins to argue with them and it happens all the time.
In-N-Out is completely overrated. I think the food is good, but not wait in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes good. If you offered me hot and fresh In-N-Out or hot and fresh McDonald’s (Quarter Pounder Meal), I would pick the McDonald’s in an instant.

We get a "puppy patty" for our grandpuppy - a hamburger patty with no salt. Our daughter wondered why he got excited when they pass an In-N-Out.

the thing for me was the fresh fries. fresh real French fries are pretty much not found any where. so that's why it was always such a treat for me
They have a 5 second expiration window cause once they come out they're trash. But do them light well and then they get a lot better.

In-N-Out is completely overrated. I think the food is good, but not wait in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes good. If you offered me hot and fresh In-N-Out or hot and fresh McDonald’s (Quarter Pounder Meal), I would pick the McDonald’s in an instant.

Yeah I went last night at 8pm and the wait was 45 minutes. It was very good though.
