IMO in-n-out has kept their prices very fair (for the quality) compared to other fast food burger joints like Mcdonalds and Carls Jr

That's not opinion. It's fact... The fact that McDonald's charges more for frozen patty garbage blows my mind.. Inn n out pays waaaay more to their employees. Charges less. And delivers quality food. That just proves corporations are greedy.
the extra cost must go into engineering their special white potatoes that they combine with others supposedly I saw in a video.Thats why they look so bleached white inside lol.I remember as a kid they use to hand out one free sample small cone and these were tinier in the 80s with a stepstool for kids to walk up.They were so friendly at McDonald’s and the workers wouldn’t care and would join in on maybe finding you another toy they might have hidden for happy meals.The football card sets they would sell I still have mine and the buckets and it use to be fun even by chance made it a part of my bday as a kid.The metal playgrounds with the the burger jail lol fun times.Now it’s just like Disney over priced and I will always have the memories
BROOO FRRR carls Jr’s prices have gotten out of hand and it’s not quality, McDonald’s is not quality either but the price is somewhat.
For those of us who have difficulty with salt, you can order the burgers and fries WITHOUT salt.

This is my order as well. I used to order it medium rare but they don't do it anymore in California for some legal mumbo-jumbo 😢 I'd vote for whomever undid this travesty.

I am vegetarian and love the grilled cheese with extra lettuce and tomato.
Remember guys, it’s spread sauce not animal sauce. You can just say chilis when asking for the peppers cus I’ve never heard sport pepper being used. And medium rare can be asked for, just depends on the state too like Texas can’t do medium rare. For the shakes side by side isn’t a term they use just tell them which flavor you want and half what other one you want lol
It’s basic, it’s fresh. That’s all you need.
We get a "puppy patty" for our grandpuppy - a hamburger patty with no salt. Our daughter wondered why he got excited when they pass an In-N-Out.

But they are grilled in a litteral bath of onion oil which is way worse for your dog as it's poison to them. Salt isn't as bad as onions

Fries well done with a packet of salt is what the folks complaining about the fries should order. Although for older people the default lower salt content is great.

lol do you think this was a top story/breaking news segment or the whole news show was about this?? some people have really never watched the broadcast of KTLA5 news...🤔they have been doing, none major news segments like these for years before...i counted about 6 segments posted today so far about the mudslides/floods in Los Angeles, he even quickly mentions the weather in the very beginning

I used to live in Baldwin Park as a kid and eating at that original In-N-Out. My first high school job was In-N-Out in Redondo Beach California. Good food and good memories !
It's funny. I grew up in Baldwin Park too, and ate at the original location there through high school (my water polo team mates worked at that one then before it was torn down).
I now live in Torrance, but frequently out in Redondo. I frequent the one in Torrance off Del Amo. I'm not sure if the Redondo Beach location you mention is off Crenshaw and Lomita. If so, I've dined at this one as well--and recently caught a foreign tourist taking pictures of the menu there. I was laughing inside a bit observing this. It's just crazy how popular In-N-Out's reputation has grown even outside the country compared to when I was growing up and was a little known regional burger chain still confined to California, and mostly southern California. Now I see people standing in insane lines in pop up locations from Australia to South Korea to London.

The original restaurant is actually not there anymore unfortunately they demolished it a while back no idea why but this is at that location
They bought the food at the In-N-Out restaurant on the other side of the 10 freeway just a block away from the museum location. The In-N-Out University is in that same lot as that restaurant.
Get the T-shirt as you exit thru the gift shop.
I live 10 minutes from there. It's neat to look at.
Theres also a in-n-out university where managers go and train!!!

Come on? If you are a good reporter you would get the facts right! That replic is the site of the second location of INO! The first location was demolished to build the 10 freeway!
All burgers at INO do not come with pickles! You have to ask for pickles on your burgers. When you order animal style, it automatically comes with pickles. So it’s not “extra” pickles!
I never order pickles because I forget that I don't want them and always have to take them off. This is on a regular burger, never had to ask for pickles at any of the INO's in Cal or Az.
I don't know why the fries get a lot of hate. I really like that they're made fresh and not frozen like other fast food joints. I like them animal style.
They have ZERO flavor! UGH! :( 😂

The fries need to be cut thicker. That's the only problem.
I think that the fries get hate , because if you order " To Go " . By the time you get home they're cols. I prefer eating there.

In-N-Out is the only spot I go to regularly. There is no other fast food spot in America that has high quality ingredients, great customer service, consistently fresh, and most importantly for a good price. Other companies need to take note!

@@user-uj5ly1eq5n Chick Fil A is a close 2nd but the veggies, bread, and sauce aren’t on the same level and use lots of fillers like corn syrup, soybean oil, gum, etc

They are always stingy with the spread when I request for a couple of more and always try to give me less than what I request

the thing for me was the fresh fries. fresh real French fries are pretty much not found any where. so that's why it was always such a treat for me
They have a 5 second expiration window cause once they come out they're trash. But do them light well and then they get a lot better.
They have always used fresh ground chuck. That’s why you can order the burger medium. I use to go to the original one in the sixties and there was always a line up (fast)of cars! They use to have flour dusted buns. Always delicious!!😛
The price is also cheaper than McDonalds and the burger is better quality. They treat their employees better than any other fast food chain and they make $22 an hour here in Northern California. I love their burgers. It’s simple not doing too much and just delicious!
You cannot go to in-and-out anywhere in California at any hour of the day without an hours wait... each location quite possibly serves a thousand people a day...

actually, you didnt get the right peppers either, but due to a technicality. for the past year or so, theres been a shortage of whats called 'cascabella' peppers, which are yellow like pepperoncini, but are vastly different. so in essence, you tried a completely new version of the secret items with the banana peppers instead. kinda neat

My fiancé grew up down the street from this . He tells me his memories when he used to walk with his mom to the grocery store. He would run to get ahead of her to see the birds at the Birds love us bird store that used to be right next to in n out . I just listen and try to imagine his stories he would tell me . He got to see everything get built around it. He remembers when in n out was surrounded by nothing but abandoned dirt lot,Back in the early 80’s . Every time we come to visit California Baldwin park in n out is a must go visit spot . We currently live in Nebraska
12 years ago, Reno first got their first In&Out. Now it's up to three. It's great to be back in SoCal for the abundance.
I use to worked around that area,,In and Out is good ,but theres another restaurant a few blocks from there,,Victors Villa,,their burgers were so good too,,plus you' ll get a small free salad and free chips and salsa,,the restaurant still there but no more free salad or chips,,plus they would mail you 5 dollars coupons,,

I grew up near there in Baldwin Park in the 1990s and grew up eating at the original location, albeit its second iteration. My parents and I were ordering from the secret menu back in the late 80s through 90s. That 2nd iteration was torn down and the original replica museum shown in the video here built in its place. A new bigger restaurant was built across the I-10 along with an In-N-Out store.
My high school was just down the street, and remember some of my water polo team mates working at the original location around 2000.
Before the headquarters were moved to Irvine, they were in Baldwin Park. They still have its main In-N-Out University (yes its a thing--and all employees had to train there at one point) and distribution center in Baldwin Park.
Co-founder Esther Snyder who took over In-N-Out reins back in 2000 as president also donated to the Baldwin Park Community Center and Senior Center, named after her. To this day, I don't think any other local city center has as nice facilities for residents both young and old--an indoor pool, showers, gym, boxing rink, basketball court, etc. ping pong table area, etc. and a brand new conference and event center, and outdoor playgrounds. The elegant entrance also displays athletic achievements by its many K-12 students.
I think this lady loved the city where they set up and lived at one point as much as its residents grew up loving In-N-Out. And of course they always paid their employees quite well.

They're really the best fast food around. Fresh, affordable, fast, friendly, professional staff, clean locations, open late. Makes it very difficult to return to any of the others after you have gone there. One day they will get even wiser and also capture the breakfast market currently owned by McDonalds and the others.

I miss In-N-Out Burger so much. I was in California in 2015 and I went a few times over 15 days as it's that good lol ;D I'm hoping to finally go back this October, it's been way too long. Sending stomach rumbling all the way from Dublin, Ireland.

In n Out: we'll only put a few items on the menu to make it simple and make it easier for workers to push out food.
People: I'll have the triple blackflip grilled double 6/7th, onions graduated from college, sweating with angst, extra double fried fries but only for alternating fries, sauce fermented from 3 suns ago as of this moment. oh also a chocolate shake.

Would have loved to include everything! but we only had 3 and a half minutes! We also ordered Roadkill Fries (burger meat on fries) a Grilled Cheese (we put the Flying Dutchman in it after we were left a little less than thrilled) among a few other things. That part was cut for time...what else did we miss?

The cost of eating at In N Out is getting out of hand.
The one closest to my house majority of the females aren't always friendly and are more concerned with what's going on with their personal life than actually doing their job and completing my correct order, I guess that's how it is in majority of jobs with a high female staff. And yeah..............they've definitely messed up my order more than once.🤦♂If it was an All male employee staff, then it would definitely be a Perfect IN N OUT. Wishful thinking I suppose, especially in this soft law cry baby state.🤣

This was spot on about the secret menu. My wife has been woring at In n Out for 8 years. All the employees hate when customers come in and try to order stupid things not on the secret menu. Like "monkey style." When they tell the customer they dont make that, the customer begins to argue with them and it happens all the time.

In-N-Out is completely overrated. I think the food is good, but not wait in the drive-thru line for 30 minutes good. If you offered me hot and fresh In-N-Out or hot and fresh McDonald’s (Quarter Pounder Meal), I would pick the McDonald’s in an instant.
