Hey i just wanted to say thank you for all your uploads. You and C Avis tapes were my biggest inspiration to start recording local shows, and in high school this setlist and the Julia Brown ones were my jam.

Hi! I never noticed this comment, but thank you so much! I'm so humbled, but more importantly, I'm super-pleased to hear I acted as an inspiration for you to do what I do. And not because of the "me" element of it, but because it IS such an important and rare art/documentation I'm simply thrilled to know that I was able to make a valuable contribution to the "scene" in that sense... Hopefully that makes sense; it always seemed so devastating that shows were only ever rarely filmed. It didn't have to be that way. I look forward to checking out your stuff; sorry for the late reply! Thank you again for sharing, and best wishes to you. :)

Who else was on this bill? Did Dads headline? Assuming they did, but ya just wondering if anyone else still together was on this show? Thanks

Nai Harvest opened... They were a GREAT emo band from the UK... However, at this show I was chatting with the singer and he was adamant that his band was "Indie Rock/Pop" ... shortly after this show they released an album that was in fact, surprisingly indie rock. I filmed their set as well, but after delivering the video, I never heard from them, and therefore (as my personal requirements and etiquette dictate) their video never went public. I always imagined it was because the video didn't fit the indie-rock direction they were insistent on moving towards.
The next band was.... TINY MOVING PARTS! I did film their set, and their set is uploaded on my page, and they are still together. And they are delightful, wonderful, brilliant dudes.
I THINK another band played but I needed a rest. Filming these can be intense... If I can determine the other band, I'll followup.

Oh and yes, Dad's DID headline, and also, perhaps important to note, John's parents were on stage watching the show. But I'm realizing now I'm sure he addressed that in the video... ALSO, this, if I recall correctly, was one of the "last shows ever" at the First Unitarian Church, which is an amazing, iconic venue. However, (lol and thank god) for some reason that didn't last long and they started having shows again; I realize I don't have that much insider info, just personal anecdotes, but I do remember being super bummed out about the venue closing.
