I'll pin this, as a reply to all those pissed off over their precious stash location. I haven't broken some unwritten rule, I found all of these by spending a huge amount of hours in game and on a test server trying stuff out. If it just so happens to be the same place you use then adapt and find another. Or just continue, even if this vid gets 100k views what are the chances one of those people have watched it and are on your server looking at your tree (out of the hundreds of thousand that spawn across the map) Before you knee jerk react and wail like a child just think about how pathetic it is to get upset over something like this.
Could not disagree more and calling people crybabies is real mature. Some of us have been playing a long time and already knew these from hours of experimentation and without posting it online. Not everyone likes pvp and just wants to have a stash they can rely on. It doesn’t impact the loot economy so who cares if people have stashes. This was just to get clicks for your channel and added nothing good to the Dayz experience.

When I was 0-500 hours in dayz, I thought edge of the map and under tree stashes were the way. But when you get to +2000 hours, you realise the best way to hide is up high, in plane sight, or getting up to places by vault jumping and creating crates in tiny spaces above eye level 😊
@@cryptoknot firstly you need to be able to do the crouching vault jump. Once you can do that, then you can try on top of bus stations and random structures that are 1 floor high, roofs of some of the houses. Some of the industrial buildings. If you go to the Cherno Industrial construction site building, the one closer to cherno, near the small military near the spawn. If you go to the top of the stairwell, you can vault jump onto the stairwell roof. From there behind it you can jump down onto a long industrial structure, and place as many crates you want there. 4 levels up, behind the stairwell wall. No one will ever see it, or even think to jump up there. I also mentioned the below in comments to someone else a place in nadežna just north of Cherno. Good luck 👍🏼
These spots are great for those who don't really want to spend the time building wall after wall, gate after gate, and finding the locks to go on the gates... yawn lol I know how good some of these spots are from helping to transfer the gear in the Base Bandit series. Great video FT, thanks m8 ;)
The cabinet in the mustache house was my go to to stash my boom when I would make bases in the mustache. I would put a bunch of gun cabinets a little bit away from the corner where the cabinet stash was, essentially blocking it off, with barrels in front of them. I've has people raid me for EVERYTHING, including all my storage and the gun cabinets I placed in front of the stash cabinet and they never even saw the boom crate. Happened at least 4 times. So underrated.
@@sofaspeedif you want to learn how to drive a car, try NEO Farmers. You can type a command and instantly spawn a car. Great way to practice so when you find a car somewhere else you dont instantly die. You'll have the experience to live a minute longer.
When I was playing with a group on Livonia (Vanilla) long ago one of us was about to go afk in the woods, and by chance opened his inventory next to the right tree, finding an entire barrel stash hidden in just the way this video shows. We had no clue hiding a barrel in a tree in that fashion was possible until we accidently stumbled across that hidden one. We thought it was genius, but also very bad luck for the owners that someone opened their inventory right next to the tree. There was such a high volume of high tier loot in it that it was likely the owner was a group rather than a solo player. It was in the woods somewhat close to weapons factory. It is pretty common for players to make fires/inventory manage in the woods so some trees may still not be the best. Best to make sure it is in very deep woods far from anything if your gonna hide valuable items in this fashion.
For everyone complaining just stash in trees or water. I have had stashes that lasted months if not years. No one is gonna check every single tree out of the millions in the game. Just make sure to have some space between tree stashes and your base. As for water stashes like in Livonia the river runs across the entire map just pick a spot map it on gps don't get spotted and you will be fine. The Only way I have ever seen or heard of someone finding either is by the pure luck of seeing someone interact with the stash and that's maybe been twice in 4 plus years and 100's of people met and based up with

Found it. (In my dreams) Honestly all of the underground land can be a secret stash location. Players can walk right over it and if they do realize it better have a tool to unearth it.
The best base is the one you can't find. You can glitch an improvised shelter with trees, chop down a cluster of trees, build your shelter on top of them, when the server resets the shelter has merged with the tree branches and helps hide its shape. You literally have to be on top of it to find . Or you can use a mule account.
I had a friend who would put barrels next to the trash cans and even though they were in plain sight no one would ever notice them and find the loot inside.
6k+ hours here. From what ive experience from hundreds of failed stashes and a few that have never been found. The best stash locations are in completely random locations in the woods. No tree lines. No valleys. No hill tops. No large pine clusters. Try to find a random duo of pines on the side of a hill in a low traffick area. Ive got about 6 stash locations over the years that have never been found.
Best stash ever. The piles of trash near the Rogovo barn. Put a stack of crates right in open view in the crevace of the two piles. I did it a few times and somehow it was never found. Meanwhile, my spot underneath the stairs in the college buildings get caught every time.
I love burying a dry back pack in the cemetery church in cherno. It's definitely a good spot to put survival gear to make the run inland 👍🏾 An 63 slots is the perfect amount of space for a gun knife food and water. 😎

Not hatting on the spoils but damn hidding under the trucks could save me from big groups im going too remember this one your video's might not be great to others but it sure opened my eyes to new things to try keep it up man
haha yep its an underrated spot for sure. Zombies can't hit you under the trucks too, so you can roll underneath and pick them off. Very useful for clearing military areas. I will say that a truck stash in one of the broken army trucks isn't a fantastic spot, because many players vicinity search them for loot in the truck bed

Awesome video, definitely some cheeky spots I haven’t thought of, but some you showcased I’ve been doing awhile. The graveyard 🪦 burial hadn’t worked in well over a year, ever since BI updated dirt pile texture. The dirt pile appears on top of the grave.
your namalsk vanilla juiced server I had crates all over the place, along the shore in the grass on the North West point outside of lubjansk, I had a few VSds i stashed there from the bering outpost that were there for weeks, nobody found them because the crates are the same colour as the tall grass. I couldn't stand it any longer so I showed a few other players my stashes and it became a communal spot to dump all sorts of gear. Ahhh the good ol dayZ
I actually did that, i put up a tent near some barracks and started to put stuff i didn't want in there, such as spare clothes and boots, etc. Not my primary stash, of course, but i notice people finding it and taking or dropping stuff in it.
Before i enjoyed the fresh start my stash spot is to whack a bush and bury it in the place of the bush then when it grows back id say its very unnoticeable.
this is old stuff and most experienced players know to look for this stuff. you can have hidden stashes and bases, you just need to be creative and expect that it won't last for more than a few weeks, depending on server population.
I play on PS4, and I used to use the pigeon boxes all the time, but it seems they have changed something since 1.23 that won't allow it anymore. I have tried many times and can no longer place crates underneath. Does anyone else on PSN have the same problem? Thanks. Great video.
The thing about the spots in rooms , i visually check the room for a player and if clear open my inventory and walk around instead of trying to spot spall items , quicker and efficient for me, I’ll also prob find your stashes 😂

nah dude.. u must not play on official servers much.. going thro multiple doors is no biggie. i actually think its mostly cheaters and dupers who raid so much..due to them having such large amounts of boom easy. stashes last longer then bases, in my exp on official
The Chernobyl buildings are killer, all of them are but the problem is any person playing last gen or on a potato PC will see it as your game renders in 😂

Create an alt with Blimpie backpacks on their back and one in their hands and other clothing with big slots. This is the only way to keep anything in this game.
im so torm with these vids.. first off, well done. but stashes are like the only halfway viable way we solos have of storeing or keeping any loot. And stashes have been op for awhile now. but recently alotta focus has come to stashes, and vids showing stashes etc. ive actually noticed the difference recently(folks def often look more for stashes now, and go places where stashes can be good etc) like the pidgen stall one, so good, but now has become known, so decent playas check those spots as well.. at least the multitude of spots where u can stash are plentiful. but very high tier stash vid here. u didnt even waste time on water stashes and simular..

Seriously, the tree thing is very similar to cutting down a bush, burying a stash in a crate or a drybag where the bush was and when the server restarts the bush has miraculously grown back!!! Trying a tree is a natural progression from a bush and a buried stash to a barrel.
It's actually a glitch that got re added before the devs fixed it when u put it in the tree it would pop back out I know who the trader is I just wanted to confirm the name

I dont luke raiding other people bases. Also I noticed no matter how many gates you have all bases can be raided. Only way to protect your loot is by hiding it. So sad that you gave away all the good stuff. Now basicly you get raided you get ruined.

I mean there's a bigger chance someone finds your create under the wagon (there is limited number of those on the map) than in totally random place that looks exactly the same as spot 5 meters away as you have to check a lot of cubic metres under water to find anything really

The barrel in the tree is brilliant
If you leave the lid off a barrel, it collects clean rain water which you can harvest with a pot, cantine, bottle

Are these for both PC and console? I’ve noticed quite a few differences in ability to place depending on which you are playing on
i used to use a lot of these places in official servers, but then they changed the placing tolerances. I wonder if they came back to bethis precise

The best hidden stash is my bush in middle of feild in Livonia untouched for well over 300 days high poup FPP

Do these crates vanish if not attended to for a couple of weeks
crates are 45 days on the floor, 14 days buried. Making a change to the loot in there, moving an item or adding stuff resets the timer.
Better find a shovel and dig in! The only sensible tips here are hiding the barrels.

The new devs and a majority of new players want pvp so they don’t care about the survival aspect or loot stashing. Sad

These are nice and all, but there’s so many cheaters that these might as well be out in the open…
I dont luke raiding other people bases. Also I noticed no matter how many gates you have all bases can be raided. Only way to protect your loot is by hiding it. So sad that you gave away all the good stuff. Now basicly you get raided you get ruined.

How is any of these better than a crate or a barrel just dropped in a random spot of water deep enough, like ponds, rivers and such?
I mean ponds are the first thing most people check. Plus you can see them in old consoles.
@@mal3145 what about random spots in the rivers that go for miles? I mean there's a bigger chance someone finds your create under the wagon (there is limited number of those on the map) than in totally random place that looks exactly the same as spot 5 meters away as you have to check a lot of cubic metres under water to find anything really
