So, how do I increase my wealth through savings...since its value will go on decreasing day after day. And, these have to be saved for family misfortunes. Can sum1 plz explain? And suggest good invest options for a Muslim layman.

Brother first of all pay zakat and sadka. After that invest in gold , silver , land and other things which value increase with inflation.

I think some people misuse the word luxury with comforts
muslim can spend on (comforts) items that make his/her life easier
but not over spending which is a luxury that is unnecessary
it's forbidden to over spend and waste resources like water for example as per prophet hadith.

if you think about it, you are making money from money. That's haram.

Why is luxury items haram?. Maybe you want to phase it differently . It is better instead to put to use something better or going towards charity. But to twist meaning not to buy luxury items is sin. Tell that to the millionaire and billionaires
SHEIKHS and their wives. Or any scholar. They have wealth you can buy nice things . But it is better you do not waste but rather help others.
As well give me the proof what hadith?
