Hey just quick question, how to you make the tilde teleport you to specific coordinates ? i can't set that up
Just use /teleport X Y Z to teleport to a particular location rather than using tilde.

Hey, how would I make a tp command so for example if a player was standing on specific co ords it teleports them to another set of co ords.
Hey! That’s super easy. Just have a repeating command block one block in the ground that had a command like this:
/teleport @p[distance=..2,gamemode=survival] X Y Z
Make sure to fill in the destination where I put X Y Z, and that your repeating command block is always active. Also, I stuck in the gamemode filter for the player because you may not want to teleport creative players.

I would love to see a detailed video on how to make cutscenes, i searched everywhere but didn't find any proper tuts on that and i even tried experimenting with armor_stand cutscene but I crashed my game multiple times due to doing wrong commands.

Nice! Making a horror map is very cool. In case you're still working on it, I have a trick I like to use to trip players up: say, you made a house. Then you copy and paste that house exactly 50 blocks away, and make some small changes. Then, you can teleport the player whenever you like ~ ~ ~50 and the teleport will be seemless, however, some things will be changed. Idk if it's a useful tip but I hope it might be

is there a command to teleport closer to an entity, i don't mean directly but little closer like black hole
SUPER easy! Something like this would tp a player 1 block closer to an entity with the tag BlackHoleEntity.
/teleport @p ^ ^ ^1 facing entity @e[limit=1,tag=BlackHoleEntity]
I am struggling with the same, my idea is same as your but i expand it, i need a command that only works if player is in certain area and when they sneak they will teleport otherwise command should not work
I figured out 1st condition but stuck at sneak condition
Definitely try predicates!
@@AvidMc can i use execute if score instead of predicates?, Basically i dont have knowledge about predicates i seen some videos but i didn't understand a little bit they say predicates is most complex one.
@@AvidMc what did you do in last use of teleportation example? When you sneak you just teleport i was amazed after seeing that.
Just out of curiosity i have command blocks in my world that work like setting creative mode and adventure mode etc... but if your playing in survival you can and will get trophies...or achievements that said...why won't my command blocks to me to the exact coordinance...

I don't blame you! The F3 command is a giant jumbled mess. The coordinates are on the left-hand side near the middle top next to a section labeled "XYZ". The coordinates are separated with slashes (E.G. 100 / 90 / 100)
And one more thing how can i play a noAI skeleton's shooting animation

Hey! Great question, so you could have something like this:
/execute positioned X Y Z run teleport @p[distance=..10] X2 Y2 Z2
This command will teleport a player within 10 blocks of the coordinate X, Y, Z to X2, Y2, Z2
@@AvidMc sorry but im a bit confused, does that mean that a player within a 10x10 radius of X Y Z will get teleported 2 blocks each way?
@@AvidMc Im working on a Harry Potter map, and i wanted to make a flu powder network, and so i am looking more so of a command like if a player is in X Y Z they get teleported to another set of cords, like say if you are standing on 125 32 425 you get teleported to 530 50 20.
is there a way to do that or no?

How do you teleport with velocity? Im on bedrock so this might not be possible
Good question! Unfortunately you can't change the velocity of a player using commands.
AvidMc can you name the co ords, so in stead of typing in the co ords , you can name the co ord and then type in like "jungle Base" and be taken to the co ords of your jungle base ? Hope this makes sense lololol And thanks for any help :)
That would be such a great feature! Unfortunately there’s no such way to do that right now. But you could save your common teleport commands into command blocks and store those command blocks somewhere on your map. Hope that helps!
@@AvidMc just found out I’d need a paper server and essentialsX. As my downloaded server from minecraft ain’t got a plugins folder. So would need to be a whole new server. Bummer. Lolololol

Oh that’s a pretty neat idea! You’ll want to look into predicates to detect sneaking. Predicates are a part of a datapacks. Legitimoose had a good video on them.

How do I teleport myself TO a mob? Let's say, I want to find an Enderman really quickly for example by teleporting _to_ it.
This is super easy to do! Here the command to do exactly that: /teleport @p @e[limit=1,sort=nearest,type=enderman]
@@AvidMc Did that get changed in 1.19? Beginning to think my datapacks are a lost cause. But thank you very much nonetheless! I ask because I'm attempting to implement a feature via commands that allows endermen to actually lift up the player briefly and carry them around.

Also, I don't believe this command has changed in a while, though I'm on Minecraft Java .
@@AvidMc I am also on Java, in the previous update (1.18) I had this feature working to perfection, now it refuses to unfortunately. I will try your suggestion regardless 👍
@@AvidMc I tried what you suggested, it still would not work. I think there is something wrong with the game currently because data merging entities with tags (like I always have done) refuses to work now, suddenly.
I use them in my backrooms map as entrences/exits between levels
