They've already said that they aren't keeping to the one year period of the original show. It would be impossible with the actor's aging. There are going to be bigger time jumps between seasons.

At the end of the live action, they mention sozin’s comet, but never say a time frame.

The cast is good, but the guy who plays Sokka looks like a real life version of the character. Really good casting.
@@owie4070Sokka is a ethnic character in the animated series and Netflix whitewashed over it.But techinically specially white looking people will be present only in the south pole in real life for eg.Inuits
@Alexxxieboii I'm Jamaican and will freely admit to my ignorance on certain ethnicities. To be honest, the actor himself appears ethnic, and he does claim to be part Cherokee. But anyway, I still think he is a great physical match for the character.

They did a fantastic job with the live action adaptation. One of the few live action pieces to date that exceeded expectations!
They must have used a ton of make up on Utkarsh, he looks so much lighter here than his normal mocha colored skin. I love him as an actor. He's a really cool dude.

I have a special connection to this show, and I don't think this cast realizes what this show means. Its been, nearly 20 years since the original airing, and this still remains the highest rated animated series on imdb of all time, Jujusu Kaisen the only show coming close.
Zach, who voiced Aang in the original show, was in my graduating class and I shared a few classes with him. This show means absolutely everything to our town. I have never in my life anticipated a premier date for any movie or show more than this.
I love this cast, they got it right. And I don't think I've able to hold back tears watching any of the promos. This is truly such a huge deal

Wow, I've watched it already, and it's amazing! Fantastic live-action adaptation! I can't wait for the next season! It's action, drama, fantasy, and comedy-all in one! Amazing cinematography, amazing special effects, those animals, spirit animals just amazing, and their powers, the visuals look great and the backgrounds look fantastic! They're all amazing! Gordon is a brilliant actor for his young age, and he is so cute; he has a million-dollar smile too. Dallas is a versatile actor, he's amazing actor. Kiawentiio and Ian are amazing too. Paul, and Daniel are very good too. All the cast members are really doing a great job.

I really enjoyed the Avatar series set in 2024. Aang, Zuko, Katara, and the rest of the cast and the film team did a great job. In particular, Aang's role in the film is very good for him. Aang's choice of character was very good❤❤
