Man, I remember seeing Tobey's Trilogy in theaters back in the early 2000s as a kid. It was like seeing my hero come to life and then to see him again years later in No Way Home was like seeing my childhood self brought back to revisit. And now that his films are coming back to the big screen is something I am completely excited for.

Saw Spider-Man 1 last night, still amazing over 20 years later 😊
As a man born in 2000, I’ve never seen any of the Tobey Maguire ones in theaters when I was a kid, not even Spider-Man 3, because 6 1/2 year old me at the time was only excited to watch Shrek The Third than Spider-Man 3, so this is exciting. For those like me who never get a chance to watch the Sam Raimi ones on a big screen, this will be the BEST experience ever.💥
I'm three years younger, and yeah I grew up on the DVDs of these movies. I still remember watching spiderman 4 fan trailers on UA-cam before the 4th one was cancelled and replaced with amazing spiderman which made 9 year old me absolutely hate that movie when it came out. Can't wait to see these! Spiderman 1 right on time for my 21st let's gooo.
I was also born in 2000 and I do remember going to te theater to watch Spider-Man 2 (I was 4 so it's just a glimpse) and Spider-Man 3 when I was around 7. It's going to be very nostalgic going back to the theater to watch these movies.

A “cheap” ticket in my area is 12 dollars, they can get as bad as 29 dollars if you’re see it in a premium format on opening weekend. I have amc A-list so I pay 25 dollars a month and see 3 movies a week at any AMC in the state. It’s pretty dope

EXACTLY. Those are the best 2 with the possible exception of the 2nd Rami movie. And maybe the first. But probably just 2. Hope they sneak those in at the end. Always enjoy watching those 2 again on the big screen

This is so freaking exciting. I've been hoping they'd do some sort of re-release for Toby's movies for years. Also I realize the 9 to 5:00 Monday through Friday job isn't really a thing that much anymore, but it's still weird to me that they never put stuff like this on weekends. I would think it would make more money that way.
Yeah a Monday is a super weird day. Considering most of Spider-Man’s fan base is kids they probably won’t be able to watch some of these.

When I first heard about this, I thought, “Is it worth watching all eight Spider-Man films in theaters when you can watch them from home?” I then realized I was giving into the “streaming only” mindset, forgetting that not everyone could experience these cinematic masterpieces in theaters, wherein movies feel more exciting. But now I wonder why the Spider-verse film duology was not getting theatrically re-released alongside the first eight live-action Spidey films.
A part of it likely is that Across the spider verse released JUST last year, so it’s not gonna have a LOT of demand to see in theaters when people just saw it in theaters

The reason why the original trilogy and TASM1 were memorable, was because of the producer LAURA ZISKIN
It was because of her and her husband (the screenwriter Alvin Sargent) that the movies had depth
Unfortunately, she died in 2011, during the production of TASM1
Without her, there was no one to stop AVI ARAD from destroying the franchise
Spider-Man was nothing without her

Also the start of memorable memes, and memorable moments such as the part where he said "It's Spider Time" and he Spidered all over their enemies! Followed up with Spider-Man 3 after the dirt scene where he said "IT'S BULLY TIME" and he "BULLIED ALL OVER THEIR FACES". Truly the staple and classic moments of all time of any Sony movie involving Arad or Pascal.

I watched Spiderman 2002 yesterday and Finally after 22 years , i've seen it on VHS, DVD, Blueray, Streaming and now in The big Silver screen. Being only a few months old when the movie came out I obvouisly couldn't go watch it back in 2002 but this made me almost cry. My cousin, brother and I have been watching this trilogy for so long and I can't even remember the amount of times we would watch 1 and 2 in the same day, then when 3 came out we watched 1, 2 and 3 multiple time when we had free time and when we were bored of playing videogames and playing outside. The Sam Ramy Spiderman trilogy was such a big part of my childhood and I will be trying to watch the other two in theaters aswell. Thankyou Columbia Pictures happy 100th aniversary, to 100 more
