I was using chirp to program my RB27b and RB27v radios when I noticed that chirp had a “full band support” for both radios. I gave it a try, and was surprised to discover that it gave both radios 99 memory slots, with full uhf/vhf functionality. I have plenty of other radios with that capability so I didn’t re-program them, but it is fascinating what can be done with them. The entire RB27 line has evidently been dropped. That is unfortunate. I have all three flavors, and they are my favorites!
Thanks for the testing. Glad to see it tested as advertised at 2 watts.
I had my doubts but was very happy its power was as advertised.

I never did get what the power was.
