- In this video I brought out my old Equinox 800 headphones to compare to these beefy new headphones (ML-105) that come with the Minelab Manticore. They are bigger than I expected but they feel really nice on your ears. Will you like them?

Enjoying your Vids well done. Last Sunday a mate of mine showed me his None Minelab Bluetooth Headphones ( He had to purchase a Bluetooth Transmitter which plugs into the Heaphone socket on the back of the Manticore Control unit.). So he gets his Manticore up and running, BT Headphone paired to the BT Transmitter Manticore switched on coin over the coil test. To me he said put these headphones on first thing I noticed the wind noise dropped alarmingly I could'nt hear it, someting to do with the ANC (Automatic Noise Cancelling ). Swung that coin over the coil again and WOW I am now seroiously thinking about purchasing the same Bluetooth Headphones which also can be used when your listening to music or on your mobile, whereas the Minelab Headphones you are resticted to use them only on the Manticore. Why did Minelab not use the Bluetooth system instead of there own. Probably for the $$$$.
What headphones are they and are they AptX? Looking for something light and water resistant to avoid using my standard bluetooth headphones about the same size as Minelab's.
New headphone options are coming out tomorrow from Killer B Headphones. I will have a video up Sunday sometime.

The Manticore headphones have poor sound quality!! I know!! Have you heard of the ML 85 and have you tested whether those are better than the ML105's?
I have both and like both but prefer the 85s for the smaller footprint.
Are the headphones rain resistant?
Are the headphones waterproof? Or rain proof? Looks like the the charging port dossent have a cover. Been enjoying your videos, keep up the good work.
Are the Manticore headphones manufactured by the same company that made the Equinox 800 headphones?
So you think it is gonna be your new go to Machine? it is looking impressive for sure! But For me Im still gonna go for the WS6 Master because of weight and price! I do have the minlabe pro swing though! But Id have to save for year or more because Im on SSI and Im to impatient lol! another great video :)

I bought some ML-100's to use with my equinox 800 around a year ago. I love them so much I use them with the puck adapter wired with my Deus 2! Sound quality is unmatched in my opinion! I'm going to retrofit the D2 adapter on the side of them eventually.
I just used them today and they are nice. I really like them even if they are a bit bigger than the Nox headphones.
@@MentalMetal the first time I tried mine with my equinox apparently I had turned the threshold on the 1 setting at some point but couldn’t hear it with the ML-80’s but it was clear on the ML-100’s

I sold my soul for the deus 11 so can't afford the new minelab .but having the mk1 deus I am happy with wireless pinpoint coil and headphones and the remote 😀
Tim you have a great machine in the D2 and is tailored your ground in the UK for sure. The Manticore needs to be tested more and I'm sure it will do better in some areas than the D2 but the D2 has been a great machine for me and I will find it hard putting down.
ML105 are very uncomfortable! The press hard against the ears. The ML80 are so much better but won't pair. Shame.
I find them very comfortable but they are significantly bigger. Maybe you just need to break them in.

Maybe but they are super comfortable I just used them this evening and I'm impressed.
To me are terribles. They are weaks, not louder as ML-80. It´s just ridiculous...
