I'm loving some of the updates to the weekly, but man her nature set from last year is just gorgeous! Not sure I'll be able to stray from the gorgeous interior and exterior of the nature series. I'm a slim shady girl, but maybe I should try the Big Gal nature one to spice it up😅
When you busted out the bags on bags of pens 😆💛 yesssss girl. I always love seeing your flip throughs of planners! She always gets me with the covers, so beautiful 💛
I got the big one last year and love it. I love the curriculum progress pages most. This year I'm thinking with going minimalist BUT I want to see the new layout first. Thanks so much for the video. These are always so helpful.
I love the more open-endedness throughout and also the month/day/week tracker in the weekly layout. The little ideas for how to use pages is a great idea as well. But I really miss the lovely details (the drawings) and cream paper from the nature one! Especially as someone who isnt much of a creative doodle-er or decorator ... It was really nice to have those details already woven into the planner. I'll proabably get this one because of the added versatility, but definitely missing some of the beauty of the last one!
I totally get where you're coming from, and it seems like there is a great divide with folks who lean towards drawings and others who prefer a cleaner look. Now, with the recent changes, both versions give you a full 52 weeks. The larger one had some uploading hiccups last year, which is why it wasn’t a full 52 weeks. Megan is really great about listening to feedback and taking that into consideration for next year’s design. Good thing is that if you prefer any of the old designs, they're still up for grabs. Personally, I love the extra art as well, but I think adding some washi tape will give that vibe too.
Oh I love the new covers!!!!!! So many great updates. I do love the weekly spreads. I am loving the extra pages in the back for “plans for next year” I wish there was a way to make the pages a bit thicker so there isn’t so much ghosting
Thanks for watching, unfortunately that’s the range available via Amazon for printing. I use a hobonichi planner, so I’m so use to ghosting now and actually love the worn in journal look if that makes sense. She is working on a digital option , that may be something you could consider and print in a higher grade paper. If you don’t mind the diy process.
I love the changes to the minimalist planner. I'm gonna hold off for the new one to see which one works best for me. I'd love to see you do a quick video on it.
Can’t wait to check out the mini planner! I didn’t use much of the tracking last year, but I do love the booklists… maybe a notes(for book list) and mini planner this year! 😊
Thank you! I really like all the updates to the weekly planning pages. I love both of these covers, but I know I won't use half of the pages in the larger one. Maybe I need the splatter cover notes book to go with minimalist planner. 🤔
That extra line on the weekly layout 😲 I bought a thin girl from the nature set for the new year and now I need to replace it 😩🙈🤣 First world problems lol
It’s going to be hard to decide but I think I’m going to wait to see the new planner just in case it’s a better fit. I *love* the cover on slim shady, though!
Hi, thanks for sharing. I decided to order this, and love it, but I find the last four pages confusing, ‘what worked what didn’t, and then ‘plans for next year.’ This is great. I expected the next and final two pages to be the same as the two prior, but I get two pages of ‘what worked what didn’t.’ It seems really odd to me these final pages. Is this a printing error?
No, it's not an error. It provides enough space to document for several students, ideal for larger families. Some may choose to dedicate a spread per child or group them differently. If you don't need that extra space, you can repurpose it. On her website, you'll see pictures of these pages, and it states that 4 end-of-year reflection pages are included (which I also show in my copy in this video). The wrap up is a slightly different focus or given you a different way to direct your reflections. So, definitely not an error, but feel free to repurpose it as needed.

Sage is gorgeous! But I’ve been struggling because I’m real a slim shady girl too. But I did it for the cover too 😆
@@Arleneandcompany lol yeah those covers are just 😘
I'm loving every single one of the updates! So glad she switched to white paper this time around.

Oh but I have more, all the pouches …my pretties!
Very helpful!

Love it! I think I am going to wait to see the mini weekly planner as I have a feeling that maybe the one for me as I don’t track 😂
I kinda feeling it too 😂
I love the changes to the minimalist planner. I'm gonna hold off for the new one to see which one works best for me. I'd love to see you do a quick video on it.
I’ve had a few requests for it, so I’ll be doing a walkthrough of it ☺️
love the new yearly calendar format and so happy you let the cute books stay as well! cover is gorgeous 😍
That’s all Megan and her awesome designs! I just voiced my strong desire for the books to stay 😂
Mr Pen products are great in my Bible so I bet they would work great in these. I’m going to order and test it out. Thank you for this amazing review.
My pleasure! Let us know how it works out 🩵
Thank you for all the work you do with your videos! You have some of the best out there. ❤

They just look good together. The companion notebook just wants to hang by its side 😄

The 5 lines you mean?

Love them! 😍
Do you know if Schoolnest will be coming out with a new student planner as well?
Yes, new covers are coming for the student planners too!

Are you doing a flip through of the bonus planner?
I showed the images here of it, but if you guys think it will help more to have a more dedicated look, I can do that too ☺️
What disc size did you use for the disc-bound binder?
Classic , I didn’t put all the months in. Here’s my step by step video of the process.

Are they still going to offer the nature Lesson planner?
Yes, all previous designs remain available on Amazon . There’s also a new weekly planner layout with a nature cover .
I’m SO sad to see the cream paper go 😢
I love the cream too. Maybe it will come back in the future!
I am a minimalist girly but I always prefer the covers on the larger planner. 😫
You can grab the companion notebook in the different cover and have the best of both worlds!
Did you create this planner? I’ve been eyeing it on Amazon!
No! Megan from Schoolnest! Check out her website and social links below.

Is that extra book lists I saw?
No, just the book designs are different.
