This is my review of the Kahr CM9. It has installed on it the Galloway Precision Gallowglass trigger, Tritium front sight, and the MCARBO striker spring guide rod.
Kahr pistols have unmatched quality for their price - I have a couple of them and will likely get more, obviously you don't get the same capacity but they are just fun to shoot and they are unique/different from most polymer framed pistols. Plus, they are incredibly reliable. The fit and finish is always much nicer than other firearms too.
Very good review, I have the Kahr CM 9 as well and it is one of my favorite and most reliable firearms. Never thought about upgrading anything on it before. I might have to try some of that.
Please mention on tge pm 9 that the barrel is polygonal rifling and that it has 2 sets of slide rails that mitigate felt recoil, thats one thing that i haven't heard mentioned, how ever u gave a great thorough review
Of the 7 carry gun choices I own, my CM9 is my favorite because of its size/weight and simplicity. However I decided to change out the trigger for an alloy flat faced trigger and I have regretted that. At first the new trigger would not fully reset and that made the once 100% reliable CM9 ….not suitable to carry. I have worked the gallowglass to where now it resets but the trigger is not as comfortable as the stock trigger, should have left it alone, at least the red alloy trigger looks cool. Still my favorite carry, just not a gun my trigger finger likes.
Another big issue with the Kahr besides capacity is the angle at which bullets seat in the magazines. In my case they must be put inside a sleeve to prevent bullets from falling out in your pocket. Wish they made a double stack.
Have this model also the 365 and Shield Plus. What is your general thought on reduced capacity as it is? The others can't match up for the smaller size. Easier for Carry.
I have the CM9 and a P40, and both fit in my Glock 43 IWB holster. Love the CM9. Great little carry gun!
Owner of CM9's since 2012. Still carry it IWB as much if not more then my 365 and Hellcat, despite the capacity.
Great little pistol. I've had mine for 6 yrs and over a 1000 rounds through it with no flaws whatsoever.

Thank you! I do like this firearm. It's a keeper for sure
The CM9 is a high quality pistol with tight tolerances. I use mine as a backup to a full size pistol, but I don't feel undergunned with the CM9.

Good morning! Thank you for the feedback! I should start including info like that in my reviews. I appreciate it!
The P365 is close but it is definitely larger in every dimension and quite a bit heavier.

the springs in the mags for mine are pretty stout. If I put a longer spring in there, I'm not sure I could load them.
Yeah. I think the springs in mine were worn out. They were super easy to load. The +5% power springs from Wolff springs are very stiff.
Great pistol …….
Sorry u did mention the rails
Bro whats that Ironsights?
shopkahrfirearmsgroup.com/front-night-sight-kit-truglo-tritium-pro-cm-cw-ct-s-series-except-cw380acp/
Fits everything but the .380 models
They sell the rear and front sight as a combo too
These guns have no Safety???
Correct, None
The long heavy trigger pull acts as your safety
Trust is a problem with all the kahr pistols .
