Roy Clark has that title. He could make any kind of sound effect off of any stringed instrument. and he was a very nice guy. Go watch his version of this son, he did the song with a young boy on banjo.
@@Whitguy86You don’t much about fiddling. Roy could scratch out a lot of tunes but he wasn’t really very good. Lot like Charlie Daniels. But both great entertainers. You talk about the greats you’ve talking about Benny Thomasson, Kenny Baker, Stuart Duncan, Aubrey Haynie, Mark O’Conner, Byron Berline, Bobby Hicks, Blaine Spruce, and many more. Roy was incredible and saw him several times. But not even in top 75% of greatest fiddlers. And Orange Blossom Special is not a hard tune to play. He made it look difficult. You never saw him playing Rutlands reel, Apple Blossom, Say old man, Billy in the Lowground or a lot of other difficult songs.
I've watched u since u were on the GOO w Ricky Skaggs. U keep getting better. Best I've heard. My granddaughter who is urcage had a terrible crush on you.
We love to go see Carson @ the Carter Fold in Hiltons. They always put on a great show along with the ETSU Bluegrass Band. And all the clogging is amazing to watch also. Great fun on a Saturday night. Uncle Shuffelo & His Haint Hollow Hootenanny puts on a fantastic show, too
That's not talent, that's hard work and practice. This is a skill that anyone can learn. Some people learn the skill faster and better than others but they still learn it regardless. I've seen some of the best artists out there who started out really bad and sucked at it. They improve with time.
This young man has jammed with the best and sent them home, frowning😮
LOVE WATCHING CARSON PLAY .
That key change during Folsom Prison Blues gives me chills.
I have GOT to drive down from NJ and find him in concert. I thought for sure that fiddle was going to light up in flames. What a joy, the whole band!
Been watching you since you were a little pipsqueak fiddler. You were a wonder kid even back then. God bless....cheers from the French Quarter...
He has to be one of the best fiddlers in the world. He started so young.

Are you satisfied with how you are using your talent?
