Hello! i was wondering how you make your chivlry 2 thumbnails? its look like you have a free cam or something like that. If you could answer me it would be amazing thanks!
Chivalry 2 has a very rudimentary implementation of Nvidia Ansel on PC (access it with ALT+F2) so I use that in offline mode to take screenshots. Things get buggy in online matches so I can't take screenshots there. Afterwards I just use Photoshop to touch up the image.

whats better great sword or messer?
Messer is pretty quick whilst still pumping out a bit of damage, but the Greatsword has good range and damage as well as a nutty sprint attack. Can't really go wrong with either option but I might be leaning towards a messer more.

Apart from the fact the weapon is literally named Greatsword and Zweihander is a skin for it that changes it's design to the German style he hadn't got equipt. Only German two handed swords would be zweihanders because the Germans didn't invent big swords :)

So is it better to perfect counter most players, or simply go for the riposte. It is my belief that when ANY player sees the blue spark the immediate response is just to block.

I wish I understood more about the game. I find it a bit more frustrating than enjoyable. I find blocks aren't blocking, kicks are blocked, attacks go through etc.
Can't pick a weapon. Wish I knew more. It's usually attack, block, attack block so I try to kick but my legs are too short or they block the kick somehow. I notice you're able to land a lot more overhead and stabs. I can't tell if you're waiting and then attacking to break the rhythm or using a heavy attack.
There's a lot of technique you're doing, but my brain just cant comprehend it. Never played any of these games. I enjoyed the OG Demon/Dark Souls games.

Since Kicks are quite OP, imho kicking seems almost as dishonorable and scummy as archers....It should be hard to kick and stagger a knight ffs, no?

You ever been in a real fight? I promise if you get kicked in the chest it's gonna stagger you. Now imagine wearing all that armour your for sure gonna be staggered
@@Zvly521 that sounds unlikely, but i'm not comparing it to real life. i was thinking more a long the lines of game balance, knight = heavy armor but slow, vanguard = medium armor but moves faster than knight, archer fuck all armor but very fast. But having thought about this a bit more, i think that was the devs intent, but it didnt work out that way because a skilled knight can keep up with a vanguard's dodges, so maybe the kick is indeed not as OP as I originally thought...hmmm 🤔
