the reason that Taki wrote "i love you" instead of his name is that love is protected by the moon god. so if he wrote his name, it would've disappeared. but because he wrote "i love you" the moon god helped transcend the rules of musubi and therefore they didn't forget the feelings that they had for each other
@@crimsonboireact Wow, thank you for that question. If you loved "Your Name.", that feeling of wholesomeness, pure romance, nostalgia, looking for something, fighting against the cruel destiny, then I highly recommend you "Violet Evergarden". It's a finished story. It contains of: 1. 13-episodes series called just "Violet Evergarden" 2. Bonus episode 14 3. Spin-off movie "Violet Evergarden: Eternity and the Auto Memory Doll" (it's spin-off in a sense that it doesn't directly continue the plot from the 1. series, but it's just like long bonus episode, like OVA movie, so it's definitely in the same universe, with the same characters, definitely worth watching, it adds depth to Violet Evergarden). 4. The actual continuation of the series - movie "Violet Evergarden: The Movie". Winner of the Excellence Award at the 24th Japan Media Arts Festival. It also won the Animation of the Year award in the Film category at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2021. The whole story is phenomenal, emotional, tear-jerking. It's my favorite story in the romantic/realistic/drama genre. If you want to have like a demo of this story (like a trailer of what you are signing for), then watch episode number 10 of the 1. series - you really don't have to know much (besides that Violet Evergaden professionally writes letters for people, conveying their feelings, and it's a world after war), it's also spoiler free, because it's not about the main character, Violet Evergarden, but about side story, but it's the LEGENDARY episode, I have read it won the prize of the best single episode of 2018.
@@piotr004 I've definitely seen that series floating around on my netflix feed, looks really cool. Will definitely react to it! Thank you for the suggestion!
If you loved Your Name, I recomed you watch Suzume (2022). It's the last movie from the director of Your Name, Makoto Shinkai. He has made several movies, all great ones. However, this trilogy that includes Your Name, Weathering with you and Suzume are his masterpieces, though, I liked Weathering with you a little less than the other two. Suzume is very recent and I saw it at the theater this year. I absolutely loved it.
Very good reaction. It is a good thing you paused the video to think and comment on occasion because that way you don't miss important points that go by so fast. On this movie especially, there are many such points.
correct time line 3 years ago she wish after ceremony, so GOD make it come true, she time travel 3 years later to a Tokyo boy for 2 weeks, she came Tokyo to see him but he not yet knew her, she gave him her hair tie, then she died. 3 years later, he time travel to the past village girl, and he finally know she died, he got her tie & drank sake(her half soul) which make him back in time on comet day And, at the beginning shot please note the girl & the boy is 8 year later they find something missing after the commet (sucessfully save everyone) and the shots for the meeting is 3 years ago and the shots are alternatively showing when they swap bodies, you can determine which soul is in their body by their act & face
How nonsense you're? You cannot understand anything at all
That's what I've been saying! Finally someone who understands!
