Little bit of history for 'ya... For Mercedes it's traditional to have a woman put the star on the hood and give the hood a light stroke. Like a seal of approval. They have women working in many parts of the assembly process, but that last part - almost entirely done by women. And I like that tradition. It gives each Mercedes a bit of emotion and care. It's nice to think that when it was made, back in 2007, my E-class got the same treatment. Also mad respect for the very skilled women who do the leather interiors! Delivering perfection with every stitch. It takes a lot of skill, fine, delicate movements and patience to do the job.
I just love women they are so sweet and are very intelligent people I’ve grew up around my mom and sister for 6 years and they work hard to get the job done when they’re working employed
To me the most fascinating part of this video is how the vehicles are built from the inside out. If anyone ever wonders why your car/truck/SUV is difficult to work on then this video will explain. And all those plastic clips! They are a onetime use- clip on but not clip off unless you want to break them.
As a United States factory worker myself I am surprised by the lack of hearing protection and safety glasses in developed countries. We may laugh at brits with their high viz vests for just about everything, but safety glasses are common issued PPE and proven to be effective.
Ladies should be granted to work in car assembly plants as those items involved even though are big & heavy but is all being Assisted by modern machineries/robots and required a minimum amount of energies to complete the fixings. May be in Engine installation males will be required to handle the job. Anyway is great to see how ladies can perform equally well in an assembly plant....! Greetings from the Far East....

Well there is theory and there is practise. I've been working on an assembly line for years. It wasn't at Audi, but I don't think the assembly lines of different factories will be so different. You do have machines, that are supposed to help, but they often malfunction or are even planned completely wrong and don't work in the first place. For example they build a machine, that was supposed to help us, to lift some heavy parts. The problem was, the machine was too slow. So to finish the work on time, in the end we had to lift the parts and the machine. Of course women can perfectly work on an assembly line, and we also had a lot of women working with us. I still wouldn't recommend anyone to do this work, as it's very taxing. And in videos like this they usually just show the better more chill jobs, while there are a lot of really shitty jobs somewhere else, that nobody would ever allow to film.
Blame car designers, shareholders and planned obsolescence for that... Some cars are pre-designed with horrible faults, or just built to fail. If I had to give you examples, we'd have to sit down and have a few rounds of drinks, cause it's a long list.
Overall, this is a highly informative and enjoyable video for anyone interested in manufacturing. It showcases your talent and expertise while providing valuable insights and inspiration to fellow enthusiasts. Keep up the great work, and I look forward to watching more of your content in the future 👍👍👍
God bless all of us that work in a factory in Jesus name I pray for a good pay in a lot of respect in the job we are human so we make mistakes and I hope that if you work in a factory that you're being respected and being treated equally in my Holy Spirit I pray for peace for love and a lot of Joy amen
In Pakistan, side glasses are stolen. You should make a system in such a way that when parking the car, the side glasses completely disappear inwards so that the thief cannot cut them and take them.
If that ponytail ever got caught on the assembly line.......and guess who pays for all the lawsuit money.....and you wonder why US made stuff have a hard time competing with the rest of the world.
Surprisingly this is the norm. I didn’t believe it either. But I work at a car plant since last year and about 40% are female so I was quite surprised!

No they don’t they are garbage!
Likewise, women are amazing!
Some of the German women are very pretty. Next time around please post the company where the female employee works, thanks.

Women have attention to detail while the men just sling the parts around. Makes me think the cars assembled by women have less defects.
Good point Willian! They work as engine manufacturers (very often). Check out here: ua-cam.com/video/PbDXjnjDHUM/v-deo.html

the people who "sling cars around" are the same ones who invented cars though.
Dream job....these people looks like they are like robots and dead inside :D But still interesting video.

Exactly! :) Thanks a lot for your comment and dont hesitate to share
Having the right skill set and physical requirements for any heavy lifting (both genders) would be requirements for this kind of work.

The power of a good thumbnail 🙄
Why is this even a thing. Are women not allowed to work in a factory?
It´s not about that... The thing is that they are pretty nice to look at during their job :) don´t you think?
A woman can do anything they set their mind to and look beautiful at the same time.
Every human being can do that! That´s true... Thanks for your comment Joseph
No sir main important robotics

Definitely not the norm. Looks staged obviously.
It was the “Norm” during 2nd world war … so nothing new here
Surprisingly this is the norm. I didn’t believe it either. But I work at a car plant since last year and about 40% are female so I was quite surprised!
Girls worked in aircraft factories in ww2 they helped win the war
@@TheNigel55 Do i have to emphasize that i was referring to the present day? Cause apparently I have to.
@@rhythmandacoustics not at all i don't have a problem with women in factories, they can weld the same as me nowadays or yesterday's
An inhuman working situation. Modern slavery.
Compare it with history... I think that working conditions in these factories are pretty good! (comapre it with factories in China etc.)
pokrywe silniku opla zle zamomontowalas
they are allowed to wear makeup and let their hair down, you're more productive when you feel pretty at work.
why do they look unhappy ?
