I love that in this adaptation, they give Rose and Dimitry more training space and show how they move in sink, which never was much shown in the movie. The book Team Dimitri will always be my fav!
I will always love and want rose and dimitri but you can't deny the chemistry between mason and rose I saw the fight scene between them but rose and dimitri have to be endgame
Truth be told, Sisi has chemistry even with a door, insane. I like they're exploring more their relationship, although at same time it will only make hurt more later
Was it ever that much of a triangle? Mason liked Rose romantically but it was never really reciprocated except when rose was trying to get over Dimitri but even then there was never really any doubt who she really loved
Its sort of like Twilight, in that it was a very one sided triangle where you know one guy never really had a chance. Then again, it's Julie Plec so you never know. A lot of people in the Vampire Diaries probably thought Damon didn't have a chance at the very start, and he became end game.
@@noelbernabe8704 never read vampire diaries so don't know if that was book accurate but that would just be insulting as an adaptation if they male that the case with VA and have Mason be the endgame
@@madeleine5561 In VD the book the obvious end game was Stefan and Elena. I think the show got away with changing that because like 90% of the viewers probably liked Damon more. By the end even book readers probably didn't mind. I suppose in theory if the same happens with Mason (or Adrian), the same could happen here. That's of course not to say that they won't have Rose and Dimitri together .... just that we probably can't 100% assume that. Adrian may have a better shot than Mason, because in TV vamp fiction the bad boys in love triangles have had a surprising amount of success (ie Spike over Angel in Buffy and Damon over Stefan in VD). With Mason surviving and Adrian showing up, Rose has a lot of options. But again, the likely outcome probably is still Dimitri.
honestly, this question shouldn't even be a question, really. and when Kieron goes like "it's a hard choice for the audience" I feel the doubtful intonations right there. like, no, hell, no, it's not even a choice. Rose and Mason have their chemistry and they do love eaxh other, but not in the same way Romitri do. like, it's obvious it's the same in the series as well. from the point Rose cares for Mason, but it's still, as he's said, about her only mostly. and Romitri is the OTP, literally. "I would never bet against you" kind of proves it among all the other lines. like, I'm never gonna be satisfied if it ever turns any other way. Mason and Rose grew up together and all, they care for eaxh other and all, they love each other and all. they're not soulmates. Rose and Dimitri are, so, in my personal opinion, there's no actual choice to make. though I still wish all the best for at least this version of Mason (there's hope in me for that)
Yes it has changes from the book series and no the shows not perfect but the chemistry between Rose and Dimitri is amazing and I want the show to keep going and developing. We finally got a show where Richelle meads world is built. Im excited and yeah I want more
Yes finally! Even though I hope some storylines frpm the book will come to life. You get some clips in the show where I can relate to the books, but at the same Im ok with new storylines.
Book rose would never be intimate with Mason because she does not feel that way and she does not want to lead him on also it feels like a student teacher thing because it is a mentor trainee thing in the book he is seven years older than her their relationship is meant to be this taboo age gap that he is fighting

Mason dies therefore there’s no love triangle. Wish they’d actually stick to the book and focus on lissa and rose’s friendship and connection more 🙄 making rose and mason friends with benefits is such bs. And they really should’ve cast an actor who can actually do a Russian accent instead of a that obvious accent. It says he’s English but the accent is obviously Irish. I’ve lived in ireland for years so I know lol. Waiting for Adrian.

Love Triangles, Bad Casting, and generically predictable writing. Ah the Stench of Julie Plec has infected popular media. I give it a season before it crashes in flames and mediocrity.
