I just finished the skirt for this! Now I can make the top without confusion. Thank you!
Such a lovely tutorial, the Hanbok turned out absolutely beautiful! I would love to see more tutorials with Korean patterns, especially because it is fascinating for me to see the differences in sewing techniques and pattern construction between different countries :)
Thank you!😊 I would love to do make more tutorials for Korean patterns! But not many designers offer PDF patterns which means there would be difficulty in getting a pattern! 😅
Such a lovely dress i would Love to try this💕
Thanks for sharing the tutorial ☺️
This is such a beautiful style. Am so inspired to make this dress now. Thank you.
Absolutely love this dress and desperate now to make one. Love your channel and your beautiful sewing methods- all clothing is so professionally made and garments have designer appearance. Can't wait for part 2.
I love it!! I would love to make one for next year >,.< Thank you for your hard work on making such a beautiful tutorial !
Amazing tutorial, thank you 🙏🏻 I want a modern hanbok jacket with pants now 😅I’ve seen such in instagram)) And hanbok jacket with lining inside to wear it in cold weathers)) So fascinating how you can wear traditional korean garment in modern everyday life and look amazing in it))
Your tutorial seems like a SEWING ART. I love it! I am visiting Korea now and I want to buy Hanbok fabric before I go back to the States.^^ Thank you for your beautiful tutorial!
Thank you so much! 😍😍 I hope you’re having a great time in Korea and find something fun!
Thank you for the tutorial, I hope you will have a overskirt or a separate skirt pattern. I love the look of the modern hanbok with an overskirt
I love your traditional dress, it's absolutely beautiful ! It's very nice to know that traditions are still important in your country. I really enjoy your tutorials, they are very relaxing too. God bless you, love from USA
Thank you! Yes I love the fact that we still love wearing hanbok in Korea! ☺️
most of ur videos using earth tone colors for the materials. I love that, because earth tone has a warm and calm atmosphere at the same time. Keep going Sara, ur videos so helpful 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much for encouragement! I totally feel the same way on earthy tone colours!
I just found your videos. I am desperately trying to find good sewing tutorials to help me make a modern hanbok for my daughter's 16th birthday party. Thank you so much.
So glad you’ve found my video! Hope you enjoy the sewing process of the birthday dress for your daughter! 🤍
Thanks
Just discovered you and what a joy you make sewing! I am so inspired to take on sewing more for myself. I’ve only been sewing for kids. BTW, do you sometimes sell your pieces? I live in Edmonton but I think I might make a trip out to Vancouva to visit your shop.
Thanks for the love, Denysia! I don't sell me-made piece and only make clothes for myself and to make tutorial videos! Hope you keep staying healthy until we can meet in person some day! 😊
Thank you for sharing, does this require a serger?
Best 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Finally the video I've been waiting for 😆 what fabric do you recommend for this? I'm going to order the pattern soon
Yay! Thanks for the long wait! Well, any fabrics except too stiff or too fluid fabrics would work well! Can't wait to see your fabric combination!
Hi Sara. Will you be offering this pattern again in your shop. Looks beautiful.
I will be so grateful if you sgow us how to make the pattern
Thanks a lot for your video! I love it.
May I ask you which sewing machine you are using?
@@SewingTherapy Thank you so much! Looking forward to watching more videos from you!
Sara thank you so much! This is my next project! Would you consider making a two piece version sew-along with the blouse and wrap skirt? I’d love to follow that version too!
Thank you, Brandi! 💕
I love that idea! Making this one piece dress into two pieces won't be too difficult! What I'll do is making a top with a belt part and a skirt with a belt part separately. I guess it will make a perfect two piece Hanbok Dress!
I will consider making it into a video!
How many clothes are important for this dress?? please
Could you share the information about the sewing machine you use? Thanks a lot for your channel and tutorial videos.
Measurements pls
I just bought your pattern. I do not have an Asian body type, so I will have to adjust the pattern. How much fabric should I get? I plan on making the dress using one fabric, not separate top and bottom. Thank you very much. I hope to send you a picture of the finished garment.
Hi Janice
Happy to hear you're trying to make your own Hanbok! The fabric requirement might depend on the size and length you prefer. But 3 yards of 62" fabric would work for most of sizes!
Good luck on your first Hanbok and hope you enjoy the process! Let me know if you need me!😊
@@SewingTherapy I thought about me not supplying my measurements after I sent off my request. My bust is 41 inches, my waist is 38 inches and my hips are 41.5 inches. I plan on making a full-length dress. Again, thank you for your help.
@@janicehajek6293 Were you able to figure out how many yards of fabric to use? I'm similar in sizing and don't know how much I should buy.
How many fabric should i buy to make this?
