Imagine being a Vikings fan during a hypothetical Lions-Packers NFC championship game and Bears number 1 pick.
I would not be able to sleep about the Lions and Packers meeting in the NFCCG, but then again the Bears would probably fuck up Caleb Williams if they got their hands on him.
As a bears fan I am just apathetic about it all. Should Caleb Williams come to Chicago, the odds of him being another victim of our QB graveyard would be much more likely than the opposite outcome. Big sad.
It sucks to be a Vikings fan right now. Kwesi and O'Connell claim they will build the team to championship standards, to then have a 13-4 one and done season followed by a 7-10 season with no reason to look forward to the next season. The Vikings might surprise us and be good next season, but for now things are looking grim. As a Minnesota sports fan states, "there's always next year"...
I might be a vikings fan but I'm really happy for the lions I would be fine if they were to get to the superbowl that would be fun to watch (espicially against the texans) I really just dont want the packers to do good

As a lion's fan, I didn't even know how to feel...the state was dead silent. Nobody was out, it was -30 wind chill, and I would have went to jail to watch this game. And as a Wolverine fan, this was the best 6 days of football in my entire life..

This weekend was what being a football fan is all about. The rise of Love and Stroud, the clock striking midnight on Joe Flacco, the redemption of Baker Mayfield, the validation of Jared Goff, the implosion of the Dak led Cowboys and Hurts led Eagles, Mahomes showing he still wears the crown and Josh Allen paving his way to challenge for that crown. And Mike Tomlin was... there... for a little bit... as usual.
Except that 5 of the 6 games were boring AF and we found out that paying to see horribly broadcast playoff games will be a thing from now on.
All those things are true, thanks to Scriptwriter of course. But the biggest takeaway from the whole weekend was the big F**k You to all the fans, from Peacock and Goodell.

Cleveland Browns: I don't want to read this story anymore.
What the rest of the NFL should do: “LOOK AT IT! LOOK AT IT! LOOK AT IT!”

Made the worst deal for deshaun only for him to be mid and injured and then gave texans a powerful team. The browns is the type of person to give a random lottery card they didn't feel like scratching as a gift only for it to win a lot of money.

Remember, Mayfield was run out of Cleveland for not being woke enough so they could pay lots of money to a sexual predator. The Watson deal was so damn bad it pissed off teams that weren't even remotely involved. It may never be beat as worst trade ever in the history of the NFL. Especially if the Texans get as good as they're looking like they might on the proceeds of it. The icing on the cake is how distasteful it was. "Oh you are accused of a horrible crime, victimizing dozens of women? We'll guarantee you 300 million dollars fully; so that even if the NFL DOES punish you... it won't matter to you; you'll just get $300Mill to sit on your ass... Our fans won't mind paying!" I mean it really gives it that schadenfreude element you want in these types of failures.

The Rams put up the only close game of the bunch, and were expected to win maybe 5 games this season. Sucks to lose, but it was house money at that point, and we're finally drafting in the first round again, huzzah!
Finally. I had a long running joke on Reddit NFL Draft forums about the second round being the first round for the Rams. Imagine what Sneed can do with a first round pick? Not that the Rams have many holes.
As a Lions fan the trade worked out for both team. The Rams got the franchise QB they needed and a Superbowl win. We got Goff and two 1st round draft picks to rebuild with. One of those picks was a #6 pick and was parlayed into Jahmyr Gibbs and Sam Laporta. The other pick was #32 and packaged to trade up to get Jameson Williams. All three players and Goff are helping the Lions now and for a long time to come. I still respect Stafford, I hope he comes back to play for the Rams next year and we face off again in the regular season.

@@CplVelasco it's not the pass rush that Dallas lacked. GB completely neutralized the pass rush by RUNNING THE BALL. That opened up play action for Love. You can't sack Love if he hands it off and Jones just eats. I'm more confident in Niners defense to stop the run. However, Packers WRs are speedy. It's still gonna be a tough game. The only way Niners can win this game easy is if they get ahead early and make Love play drop back. Exploit Joe Barry's defense especially the run defense and middle of the defense. If Niners can't do that nor stop the run, they will meet the same fate.

As an Eagles fan I had never been less excited to watch my Birds in the playoffs. 2nd quarter of the San Fran game the wheels came off on our season. Interested to know what all happened.
I'm a Niners fan but to me it seems to be mental not a talent problem. Like Brazil choking against Germany in the world cup held in Rio. Too much pressure on the players and they melted into a puddle.

As a Vikings fan, watching the Eagles lose tonight was such sweet satisfaction. And honestly I'm happy for the Lions. At least they're a better option to cheer for than the Packers going forward, and after so long they deserve a chance.
