Removal and Installation of Amplifier / Navigation / AM FM Tuner / Satellite Radio fom 2008 Audi A6 for Repair.
2006 A6 looks identical. I was able to remove the amplifier without removing the whole unit. There are three vertical black screws on the top (two on the left, one in the back right out of sight) that can be unscrewed while the rest stays bolted in. Once the three screws are removed, the amp is completely free to remove. Check the other HiTechElectronic videos for how to detach the wires on the back of the amp (I believe their video is on a Q7, but same wires/amp).
There are FOUR 10mm screws. Three are easy to reach: two on the back wall and one on the floor. The fourth one is different and on the left side under the navigator close to the floor.Hard to reach 😡 without good tools.
i have Audi TV on MMI (2013 A5 Quattro 3L Sline) and it shows channel names but nothing appears on screen (black screen with channel name), do you know if this is a tuner issue ? as I would expect if a list of TV channels appeared on the MMI list that the tuner is pulling that list so should play something ?

Where is the amplifier on the the 06 Audi A8 is it the silver box that sits right under the Audi navigation box
It is located in the same trunk compartment, driver side panel.

How do i add oe nav without it ?
I have a 2008 a6 and took it to the dealership because there is no sound coming out at all from am or CD player it’s stuck on pause/mute and all they said was “no communication to sound system control module, recommend to replace (may need additional parts) what even is the sound system control module, is it the radio tuner?

If the car is equipped with a separate tuner, it would be in the trunk, driver side.

Where is Tuner FM in Audi A6 C7 2014 ?
It should be next to the amplifier in the trunk.
