Fantastic island where all the people I know from France, Germany and even The US have always highly enjoyed their stay !! Sort of a little Australia close to Brittany.!
Well personally I think the island development committee needs a kick in the Jackson. I must admit we probably lived through the best years in Jersey 1960 to the 80s
Fell in love with the Channel Islands nearly 45 years ago, now I stay over there for about 6-8 weeks each year, but finance has ripped the heart out of St.Helier, a lot of the hotels closed and torn down for apartments, tourist hot spots have been left neglected and it's getting stupidly expensive to stay nowadays ... sad, but this year maybe my last year there 😔
Big time ! And it's not just St helier, much of the island has lost its hotels. It used to be so magical, but not anymore it isn't. My last visit was in 2020, I think that will remain the final one for me. But I retain some very good memories.
Unusually grey and devoid of people. This route services the airport and hotels. Only the seafront from St Aubin is scenic. Great to see the place again though. I suppose the route to Corbieres is one of the prettiest (the 21?). It's very different on a sunny and busy day! Nice and stable recording.
Mum , Dad and brother all born in jersey, im the only black sheep born in new zealand, last time i was there was when i was 13 in 1977, love to go back one day

Used to travel there a lot until they destroyed tourism. Not much to visit there for now sadly.

I have to say there are nicer seaside towns in England.
Not really much to see , looks average, dull and depressing with no character.
so which beaches have you been to in Jersey then, to be able to make your comment?
