I know these videos don't do that well but thank you so much for making these Nick.
As a rec player that's trying to become the best player I possibly can be, these videos are absolutely invaluable. Thank you for taking the time and effort to produce such amazing content. Best tennis channel on UA-cam!

I think these videos video does really well on people who can buy some Nick courses or lessons. Perhaps for a person looking for THE BEST TRICK TO WIN this video is, unfortunately for his tennis, absolutely boring. I think the "fidelity" of the followers it's a very important metric to keep in mind when you run channel like this.

Nik makes this game look so easy, just perfect control of where he wants the ball to go everytime!

These videos are SO instructive. I definitely agree being really hard on him for depth. The big difference playing 4.0 vs. 4.5 is consistent depth. 4.5 players can finish short balls so much better than 4.0, so you just cannot let your ball fall short even if it has less power and depth.

These point play coaching videos are great! Teaching proper technique for ground strokes and serves is important but knowing strategies on how to use them is also essential. Keep these point play coaching videos coming!

From some previous comments, we can see it that different people could only get different things from these videos. Well, that's basically how the world is. I always think this channel is the best one for recreational players 'cause Nick always touches some critical points I (and many other recreational players from my experiences) tend to ignore or make mistakes on. Nick's insights are unparalleled among all the online and offline coaches I have known. Let me give two examples.
Not long ago I tried to improve the power of my onehand backhand a little more so I have been focusing on rotation a little more to make sure my racquet face is almost parallel to the back fence in the beginning stage of the swing. The result? More powerful but no control. Ball flies everywhere. Only after watching this video had I realized that while making more shoulder turn, I ignored the latter half of swing --- I did not complete the follow through to the very end as before! If you are like me, we recreational players always forget some critical points when we try to improve on some other points. That's why I always come back and watch again and again some videos here. In my opinion, Nick is the most thoughtful coach who always pin the common mistakes to the exact point.
Another example is on the difference between Wawrinka's and Federer's backhand. There some other videos analyzing this and that difference between the two. However, Nick is the only one who pointed out the critical difference between the two: Wawrinka's backhand swing path is closer to WTA's forehand's while Federer's is closer to an ATP's forehand's. That's an epiphany to me! That also perfectly explains why Wawrinka HAS TO rotate more in the follow through!
    I won't miss any video here. 😀

And please don't take the comment wrong, Nick is a very talented player and a very good coach, but the cost is pretty up there for one hour.

That's how my coach finishes the last 20 mins of the lesson with me. First 40 min, work on technique and drills. Last 20 min we play out points and use the same analysis on the individual points to fine tune decision making during play. We serve 3 or 4 points each then swap over.
It's an excellent way to practice points and to go over the point straight away for critique

...And only a technical suggestion, when you shout to be heard by your pupil it's a bit uncomfortable for ears, you can use an audio compressor to get an improved experience. A compressor set a top and a bottom to get audio level more even. It's commonly used in music and audio production. Sometimes recorders has this in-built function.

@@IntuitiveTennis well nobody is ever going to learn perfect technique in one lesson it’s going to be refined and forged under pressure in points. In practice using it and failing is also learning when not to use it which can be valuable information. The tactical value of the shot can’t be taught solely in a lesson on technique

Sometimes Safin uses slow ball to breath and recover his pace level, but with a strongest player I think it maybe better to fasten up his feet and use those ball to make his game. He goes in the slow rhytm with the ball instead of making a fast setup for an easy shot.
