I have watched every single One of your videos up until last year when I got sick and had to take a break. I require two surgeries and I’m just starting to get back to normal and catching up on the videos I have missed you are a great inspiration and inspired me to do this when I get better. It has been a long hard road to get to this point. But following you has given me great hope. Thanks I truly admire you.

Always great to see videos made down under - and it seems you had a lot of fun there with the locals :)
I am still putting some money aside to once get there myself for a few weeks. Great continent, wonderful nature & people.

"The Australian Florin was a very popular silver coin, first minted in 1910 and same weigh 11.31 grams as English florin and minted to 1963. During war years 1942 to 1944 florins were minted in the San Francisco Mint in the United States. Mint marks are H : Birmingham, M : Melbourne, S : San Francisco." Love your videos my friend! - Dave

You sure are brave. You had me freaked out about snakes just watching you travel down to the old creek bed. Yikes! 😳. I would bed that those were flies biting you. They tend to bite here before it rains, so maybe it is the same there.
I love the little hat that Warren found. So cute and artistic. on the coin.
Congrats on the silver coin. I would have thought they would have been minted in Canada like so many other countries of the Commonwealth are. Wow. Denver mint. Who knew?
I am wondering if the thingy you found after would be an umbrella tip or cane tip?

Those so called grommets are actually eyelets which are two piece brass sandwiched and attached to tarpaulins for tents or hoochies (tarp shelters). hope you enjoyed your time down under! I am an ex serviceman from here in Australia and have used the eyelet punch!

Lucky you, you met some March Flies. They make me scratch till I break the skin. I always carry some Hydrogen Peroxide to dad on their bites. That lead bit was the top off a lead head nail for roofing. Seals the nail hole in the iron. A real curse to detectorists. So are those brass eyelets.

You were sure playing Wallace to those Gromit's...ha ha ha...finding so many. I began to think they just abandoned their tents when the war ended and left. Nice silver coin find tho so you weren't skunked. It was interesting to know that we coined silver coins for the Aussie's during the war. I am no coin buff so it was news to me. Thanks for sharing another chapter in your adventures down under. It's good to see you out and about with some locals. They seem like very nice folks. Happy hunting and have a great day!
