Whenever I think of Fenris saying ‘nothing is going to keep me from you’, I just envision him storming through Skyhold and demanding that the Inquisitor open the fucking rift so that he can go get Hawke.
When they get there, Hawke is just chilling with the Fade spirits and a big ass dead spider next to them. “oh hey babe was wondering when you’d get here”
I was always so upset that you had to make that hard choice in Inquisition. I had Grey Warden Alistair and my Hawke that romance Fenris.... I like to think maybe there will be a quest in DA4 where I can reunite them.
DA4 Canon: Hawke only survives the Fade if romanced by Fenris
What if Hawke dies and becomes a spirit, showing up in Fenris's dreams?
Fenris: “What does magic touch that it doesn’t spoil”
Mage Hawke: “O u c h”
A good comeback to that would have been something bad about Chantry.
Anders thinking that Fenris is a bad romance choice when we all know what an Anders romance leads to...betrayal, mass murder, civil war.
His writer really messed up his character but if you did rival-romance him, he does tell you he can't remember things and feels Justice/or whatever has been using his body when he is asleep. That war was going to happen sooner or later from what I got from the codex.
Well Anders does warn us in the beginning about that lol
I always end up romancing Fenris, no matter what I want to do. Gideon Emery's voice gets me each time.
Agreed, I wish Andes had his old voice and humor in this game.
@@ragvarok7186 I know, I played it that's why I said I wish he had that same energy in this game. Hiding his pain and anger behind sarcastic humor was a draw to a lot of players of his character. Now in 2 he sounds very whiny and preachy but must be because of Justice.

I really can’t rivalmance Fenris even if I play as mage. I mean he had no affection from anyone his whole life and was abused, tortured with and because of magic. He needs an example of how mages can be trustable. Besides he needs a friend, not a rival.
That's why I never understand why the writers never gave us at least a Anders and Fenris friendship; both have been abused sexually, mentally, and physically; both hate blood magic. Makes me wonder if the writer (She herself saw how bad she written him in some cases) for Anders had keep his old personality on how hides his pain through being sarcastic but I understand that Vengeance changed him. I always picture Anders and Fenris slowly becoming friends along with Hawke helping them come to terms with their problems.

@@RikaRieGaming The thing to remember is that, over time, Anders kind of grows to hate everybody who isn't 100% on his side. This is a man who even grows to dislike VARRIC. How can you dislike Varric?!

I romanced my Hawk to Anders and have him help out with crazy plot and then protect them just so I can justify proteting Warden Alistair. In my cannon he is king though, so Stroud eats it.

You know, I've played DA2 3 times now. All 3 times, I've friendmanced Fenris. I WANT to try romancing the others, especially Isabela, but every time I play, I just end up falling for Fen all over again. I CAN'T play any others, it feels like I'm cheating on him. I've played every DA game twice and Fenris is my favourite, followed closely by Cullen, but still. Angsty Tevinter elf for life.

Honestly, same. I think about romancing anybody else when I decide to play again, but I just can't do it. Mass Effect is the same way. My best friend plays Mass Effect, and every time she plays as a Female, she always goes for Garrus.

I disdain fenris with Isabella but I adore him with hawke. With hawke it’s pure love, passion, compassion, and empathy. With Isabella it’s just.. cheap, raunchy, bawdy, and tawdry.
Shh we don't talk about that hook up here, even I was burning with dislike when I learned that happened. If it was hate sex with Anders tho, that would have made sense to me more lmao and Im not a yaoi person XD.

So I found myself on this video, for all its faults I think DA2 had good dialogue and that kept me going through it... Didn't matter how many re-used dungeons there were. Game got some hard reviews I think I recall but in me it has a warm place at least to shield itself from the cold.

God, always get torn between Anders and Fenris. I always loved the interaction between them if you start to romance one and then switch to the other. God the game really did have amazing story and dialogue but fell super short in gameplay. Made me write an OC with friends to make our own little story within the DA universe :)

Your character looks really good, if you want to, can you share the sliders? I make all my characters dark with white hair and green eyes, but i cant for the love of me make a good looking male or femal face in DA2 or Inquisition.
Since I like Bethany's face I used this person's settings and fiddled them how I liked it.

I thought he suited both but Anders to me was for the male romance. After hearing he has more lines in the male romance than female, looks like Anders was more into men.
