I Almost Died On A Space Mission In Kazakhstan 🇰🇿

- When the Soyuz 11 spacecraft was reentering the Earth's atmosphere after taking Soviet cosmonauts to the first world's space station, the cabin depressurised resulting in the death of all three members of the crew. To this day, the Soyuz 11 members were the only three astronauts to ever die in space.
In the middle of the Kazakh desert, a memorial was erected in the exact place where Soyuz 11 landed. Not long ago, I set out on a mission to reach this memorial in the middle of nowhere, but not everything went according to plan...

The memorial's location is on Google maps.
I think, you need to CoVer South Korean Cities and Heritage.
And Move Out 0f Soviet things to Many Uniqes Heritages.
Or Come to Indian.Heritages.
Too European things.
You’re fearless!
It has nothing to do with this video but, I just wanted to point out that a week ago I discovered your channel, and its a gold mine. Your vlogs are just so fun to watch, and you got such charisma. I even went back to learning Russian because of you. Keep doing what you do, sei una legenda, davide. Kisses from Romania
thanks mate i learn new things from your video, that help me alot
Thanks! What an amazing story. Love seeing the steer level reality of life. I am envious of your language skills.
Bald n Bankrupt recommended your channel on his IG
The babushka master
The predator. Check the subreddit baldandbaldrdossier and read the pinned post.
@@lowrythesmelly why are you obsessed about b&b ? why do you care about his alleged past ?
@@thegreatujo Thrown out of russia... banned. Canceled by the culture of Russia...
Hes has new prowling grounds now... down south in asia... Japan didnt work out for him as an Incel... Teamed with Tim K... another known predator.
Johnny FD is mr Wolf... also a shady character... portraying himself as an internet entrepreneur...
@@lowrythesmelly i just discovered the subreddit and i'm speachless, i can't believe that he done those things
Wow, an epic adventure indeed
Dude! Go back. Find a comfortable place not too far away. Get a few good nights sleep and hot showers, good food and start again. Be better prepared and start at the optimal time. We are emotionally invested in this. Like going into “prestige” mode in COD. Big fan. Love your videos! 🇮🇹
i love your content
2 astranouts in the beginning of the video are Janibekov and Gurragchaa who is the one and only Mongolian astranaut.
the way he talks cracks me up everytime hahaha, hes gonna get famous just for this
Грунтовая дорога is earth road, not gravel.
But Sojuz 11 monument is on the Google maps. Its actually around there somewhere
Whenever you visit a location, I must go find it on Google Maps. I've learned a lot, thank you!
Karaganda is where Gennady Golovkin lives.
Can’t understand why this guy gets such a small number of views. Similar content to Bald and Bankrupt, but orders of magnitude fewer views. My significant other suggest it is because Dave has an “irritating” voice … but there has to be more to it, than that!
I disagree. His Italian cadence to his speech makes it more interesting to me. He just needs to be patient and the subs will come. Like me, who subbed today.
@@texaswunderkindI agree.
Давид ты где? Где, где, в Караганде
Perchè nella versione italiana tagli dei pezzi ?
He's in Borat's country, Kazakhstan greatest country in the world all other countries are Run by little girls, Kazakhstan number 1 exporter of potassium
we dont care little bro
A bit overdramatic with "almost died" 🤭, what is the big deal car broke down in steppe at night so what ? Go to sleep and find someone in morning, especially with a "road" you can follow back to the village, 10 km is what only 2 hours walk time . Its not like there are wild lions or tigers there 🙂 LOL at overdramatic Italians, Mama Mia we almost died 🤣
I think you should bring a Garmin handheld GPS for navigation if you go back again, people use them to navigate the remotest places on Earth such as the Arctic
I love bald and bankrupt. And this video blows all of his videos away into space
i like your life journey bro youlll love and miss it one day, many of us want to do but we dont have the previledge to explore soviet nation...take and kep it up , we follow you show
found out about you through bald and bankrupts instagram story post, been watching your videos nonstop for days hahaha. Really enjoy and appreciate your content and am suprised you are not in the hundreds of thousands of subscribers. You make better content than most youtubers more popular than you by numbers and i really enjoy it. Hope you continue your adventures and can travel the whole world and document the stories. Cheers
How long did it take you to learn Russian and when did you start? Did you learn by yourself or how? Thanks
I took a look with Google Hearth and with Openstreetmap
There are a lot of paths between the place and Shalginski
Also between the place and Karazhal
You coud consider to hop directly from Karazhal to the place
BUT
many of those patsh ARE NOT MAPPED
if they were, it'd be easier to create a route to there
You probably just took the wrong one
It'd be relatively easy to do with openstreetmap
Also, the next time the car should have a working odometer ;-)
if you have any trace of the path you followed (maybe the list of travels in google ?) that would be interesting to share
That's one hell of an adventure! Congrats on the video and be careful when hitching those rides on the middle of nowhere.
Massive well done for this, that takes true balls! Can imagine how terrifying it was. Really admire your motivation and boldness to explore the furthest reaches of the world, especially solo. Certainly inspires me as I want to do more of this. Also saw your video on Hull uni, my mate lived down Raglan Street near yours so spent many a fond time there :)
Hello!Your videos are incredible!I just wonder why u stop playing the travel scenes(and show scenes at home instead) when doing the voiceover, I personally think it has a little bad impact on this video compared to previous ones. Anyway your work is awesome and I appreciate it so much!
Great journey only thing really I have a gripe about is, why didn't you do a pre set journey with google maps and save it??? Was driving me crazy at the end. Thanx for the trip though.
Hi Dave! Greetings from Hungary. Your content is amazing. I haven't even see this episode yet, but it will be good.
Hope you get more views man a few of your videos have so many and others only a few thousand yet the quality on all are the same I don't understand.. best of luck
Can you also visit the most dangerous country in the world ?
Omg...Such an incredible journey...In the steppes there are no points of reference! What courage you have, congratulations ! I think finding the 'image of Gagarin , in the middle of nowhere , was important as if you had reached the monument that cannot be found... Grazie Davide🙋
Isnt the picture of gagarin, the memorial?????
Happy season's holidays to everyone! It's been a tough year for travelling in those areas but you, Dave, have always tried to make the best against all odds. Stay safe and good luck with your adventures in the coming year 🍀
Didn't Bald and Bankrupt do this already??
legit walking the same footsteps with added clickbait
It looks like you finally did find the memorial
I love your videos, thank you very much! It seems like the large Soyuz 11 memorial was destroyed in 2016 and replaced with a much smaller one....
Haha you speak Russian soooo cute!))))
This are all souvenir or monument history
Been waiting for this since the instagram stories 😂
Another excellent adventure. But I have to ask, why not stay the night in Shalginskiy at the house of the nice Kazakh man and try again in the morning with a local guide?
Cuz I had work on Monday 😄
Hey Dave it was a worthy try and you gave it all you could. This was one of your most interesting and risky adventures I have ever seen. I have no doubt you will go back someday and find it next time. Maybe save up some money and hire a helicopter to take you there!
At a minimum he needs to use a bike or horse to cover more ground. Can die out in the steppe on foot.
What an adventure!
Kudos to your guts 👍

true soldier 🙏
Fantastic
why do you call it astronaut? they are cosmonaut!!
Also, not to nitpick, but Soyuz cosmonauts landed in a capsule, not a shuttle.
Ciao Davide, complimenti per il video, facendo una breve ricerca in rete, forse anche tu ti sarai imbattuto nel medesimo sito, sembra che il momumento originale simile ad un obelisco, sia praticante stato demolito da alcuni vandali... Unfortunately, it only lasted 39 years. In 2012, a group of visitors found that the monument had been vandalized. Only metal bars and scattered ruins remain. As of 2016 a new, smaller monument has been installed reading, “the feat of the crew ‘Soyuz-11’ will always be stored in the memory of grateful descendants. Georgy Dobrovolsky, Vladislav Volkov, and Viktor Patsaev proved the possibility of a prolonged stay of man is of the earth, laying the foundation for future space projects.”
love your videos in random places, but omg how many times do you you have to keep saying the names of the places your in!!!
11:33 Ladas and Gentlemen? If I could I would enter the screen and slap you in the face. Great video. I wish you more success on youtube!
What an absolutely epic journey!!! I've got a question for you, why didn't you use the maps download feature on Google Maps? That way you don't need internet when you're out in the middle of nowhere!
Man, you have to try again some time, you MUST!
Great video, I don’t understand why you dont have much more views, I’m looking forward to another adventorous video!
