Depends upon where you live in Texas. Some counties require a safety inspection before you can register the vehicle. Some require an emissions test and the safety inspection. I don't know if there is some process you can go through if you are out of state and cannot get back. Whether or not you could have an inspection done in a different state and they would accept that I don't know. Most places in Texas are not very strict about tags and registration. I see cars all the time running around with either no plate or no valid sticker. They do get picky about not having insurance however. That is a pretty significant fine and if they find you do not have insurance they would not let you leave the scene with the vehicle. Failure to have a valid registration is a much lower fine and generally speaking they will let you drive off with the car as long as you promise to take care of it. I'm wondering if the guy with the white Volkswagen got caught out of state during Corona virus and has not been able to get back to the state to get the inspection done. It was only out of date by 6 months. Four of those 6 months have been during Corona virus.
@@kens97sto171 I'm in Utah and just renewed. I was asked on the website if I was out of state, clicked yes, had to check a box to agree to have a safety inspection when I get back (registered in Nueces County) and they mailed me my sticker no problem. Done this since 2017.

Well when customer calls or ASKS ANYTHING. We and most tow companies tell the customer that the towing was AUTHORIZED. We don’t tell them who ever. For obvious reasons. This way the asshole customer doesn’t go attacking the managers car etc. when you just say the towing was “authorized by the appropriate person” then the customer can’t go retaliating against manager only unless customer is just a jackass. So I’m certain your state law is the same as it would be virtually impossible to require a owner to sign for all Tows
I get what you're saying. I think most people are gonna say well who exactly authorized it ect. No matter what, some people just need to be dealt with or they will take advantage.
Hello TowTrucker! Thanks for another nifty video!! Love your channel and love the sermons also!! God bless and take care and be safe!! People are very misunderstood these days!! I pray that all of the violence would stop and they would stop burning businesses down. People work all their lives for them to destroy it in a minute. Not right and my heart goes out to every business owner that's lost everything cause someone thinks that's the way to fix things!
People give me the bird daily, that means I'm going a great job!
They're telling you you're #1!
Kurdt M Or they are displaying their IQ number.
The middle finger, the new thumbs up
just before 10:00 you can see the respect for a fellow towtrucker! Another reason to watch!
I like your videos. Well done. Reminds me of my repo days in Los Angeles. It was the wild west. Got shot at several times.
I've never seen you laugh like that, you are so funny. Love watching your videos!
Tough laws there. Have to have a current tag, current registration, maybe even a current license.
You need to get some shirts printed up that say, "It's what we do!"
I've seen the hammer a few times. Is that an additional security item or used in hooking up a vehicle?
Love the uh oh song and the slow mo walk back to the truck!
Ok, I've been binging these for several days. Gotta ask what the hammer is for? I see it all the time, but never used... protection?
Hey, I dont like HOA either but hey, as long as they give you jobs its all good with me!
Love the content!
Yahoo. Another video. Thank you! I look forward to watching. I'm "hooked".
More to come! Thank you for watching Karen
How often do you inspect your tow cable? Just wandering because as a army flight paramedic we had to inspect it every 600 hours of use. I know your not on a j hook but it's still dangerous
keep that hammer handy, never know when you might need it. keep up the good work and great videos.
Just found your site and subbed. Good job with the narration. Looking forward to watching more and catching up.
Welcome aboard! Glad to have you on the channel
Johnny you are the man, you are fair and honest!!! Stay safe.
Once he gets a 'We yank cars, that's what we do' tee shirt, he won't have to explain to folks what he's doing. When they ask questions, just point to the shirt! 😉
Hey man, recent subscriber here. Lovin the channel! If you’re ever looking for other videos to do, I would love to see one where you talk about the business. How does someone get in the business? How do you make money? How do the companies make money? That would be cool. Would also love to see one on the tools of your trade. Maybe the different trucks and the equipment used to tow. Of course, still wanna see you yankin cars! Haha.
I do hope to start putting videos out like that, although I am struggling to balance time and work, Good evening to you
towtrucker No worries, brother! Totally understand.
I enjoy your videos, what’s up with the hammer? Is that an adjustment tool in case somebody comes out and tries to get frisky?
