The fact that Sia overcame addiction and spent quite a while making music before ever becoming remotely popular is further proof that her singing is truly from the heart. She actually worked her ass off to get to this point in her career. No wonder she writes such meaningful lyrics and continues to stay humble day after day. She wasn't born into stardom, she earned it.
