I have both shoes and I completely agree with your analysis. I've noticed when I wore each at work during an 8 hour shift I felt that the Alphabounce was good for constant walking while the Ultraboost was more comfortable for staying in the same location. I have the 3.0 Ultraboost and the Alphabounce EM. Cleaning the Alphabounce crevasses is very time consuming but I think with the crevasses look really nice. Great video and review!

Good video i use my 1.0 whitout insole and overtime i do feel that feeling in the heel its gets anoying. And i agree with you 100% if you wear ub everyday your feet will get use to that feeling its always good to have some other shoes in your rotation.

IMO, id choose the Pureboost 2017. Alphabounce has no impact protection and other types of Boost has no response. It's also the least hot and probably more durable (I've had both btw).
When I went to Japan recently I rotated a pair of 3.0 UBs and 2017 Pureboosts (climas btw are awesome in the hot Japanese summer). And I found this to be a good combo. The Ultras are so soft that my feet would hurt if I stood for too long but "for me" were really comfy on 10-12 mile days. The pures were definitely more comfortable to stand in because they are less soft and I found the inner cage on the pures to have better lock down as well. Also the outsole durability is way better on the pures in my experience. Thanks for the review though always enjoy your content
The most underrated adidas shoe thus far is the Pureboost DPR. Such a dope lightweight shoe with a more durable outsole than a ub and a nice stretchy woven upper. Sleeper
Totally agree with you. I can’t stand walking for hours on my ultraboost 19. Meanwhile, on my alphabounce, I feel no stress walking for a whole day. Only drawback is the aesthetic. The alphabounce is a good everyday shoe but not much if you value aesthetic
Found this to be really accurate and helpful, as I just discovered the joy of wearing alphabounce (the beyond ones) but could't figure out why compared to my love of boost. Y I also feel like the bounce sole is more versatile like if I want to hoop in them, more impact protection and response.

I love the way the alphabounce looks, I used to have a pair of them in the cream colorway and they look so similar to Yeezy 350 V2's. Especially from a distance. I love their aesthetics, even more than the UB.

This is why I like your channel !!! Unlike other Hypebeast / youtuber, you actually talk about your own opinion !!! Ultraboost makes you uncomfortable because although it is plush, it is not supportive enough. In fact, Boost puts pressure on your joints and ankles after walking long-distance.

I didn't realize other people had that tingling. I just thought my feet were weird. I took my insoles out for a couple months and rotated with some other sneakers and now I really appreciate the comfort
I Spent last summer walking Japan just as you have in your vlogs. My UB 1.0 OG were on my feet just about everyday (with the insole). I gotta admit that even after a full day's worth of walking my feet were ready to keep going in the UB. Maybe the difference between ours is I had mine laced the entire time to lock my foot in place. I noticed in your Harajuku vid your UB were unlaced if I remember correctly. Or, it could just be the shape of your feet that works with the Alphabounce better? I personally haven't tried Alphabounce yet but now I'm curious.

Not saying that sneaker heads have to buy a well known shoe.Hypebeast are more known to people because hype is created mostly by social media of a celebrity that has a collaboration with a sneaker compampany, example Kanye west, most people follow the hype of his yeezy collection and mainly with Adidas where he sold most shoes with the 350. Sometimes Hypebeast try to flex but really don't know the subculture of sneakers, but knowing only that the pair of shoes are famous for the person and not what they did. If you understand the reason why the sneaker is popular this is not directed to you.
i know this is an old video, but i totally agree with you. i walked in tokyo last fall in boost and my feet were great when i started walking each day (and seemed like i could walk forever at first), but became sore after half a day and got worse as the day went. i know everybody's feet and legs are different so not everyone will agree. my feet are flat and my legs/knees make me walk over pronated. i think of boost as walking barefoot on sand like at a beach, its comfy and squishy but your feet and legs are constantly working to stabilize as you walk and you probably don't want to walk in sand all day. bounce is more stable and as if walking barefoot on carpet. i assume a person walking on carpet can probably walk longer than a person on a beach. then there's other shoes where its like walking barefoot on cement. im also going to tokyo again in a few months, and i actually bought bounce and i cant wait to see if our theory is correct that bounce is better long term in walking.
I took my ultraboost for 10 day japan trip. Lots of walking. I started my day from 8am-10pm the whole trip! Feet were very sore and had to change out my ultraboost insoles. It helped so much..

only if you get the fit right. the sizing is super small on the eqt. every shoe in my closet is a 10.5 and my udftd x eqt are by far the tightest, like omg they are tight.
Bruh I copped a pair of eqt support adv and they were comfortable but its too tight like my toes need more space the shoe is too slanted but when I went a half size up the fit was perfect and the shoe also looks sexy

Hi, most of the shoes of today are very very comfortable. You just need to lace them up properly believe me. If you loosen up the laces thats where the problem start to come in. Remember your foot has enough cusion already, so wearing a shoes with it increases the comfort. Just lace them up properly
If wanna talk about style I do not understand why Ultraboost is more style ? I mean, the boost sole (of all boost model) after a period of used time will become kind of dirty looking, the bright white color when out of the box will be gone and replace by some color of mud, dirt,... anything can left a color on the boost sole. But bounce sole seems still keep the color well as out of the box, it look much cleaner at least. So for style i think bounce is better, boost (or Yezzy) just more famous in style market by advertising and celebrities
Enough information for me to differ between boost or bounce. So basically boost is not okay for long period of walking or long running while bounce more stable n comfortable. Boost is esthetically nice while bounce was functional. Very good review.
I get what your saying, my food goes numb too because boost is always pushes your feet away. Unlike Bounce which absorbs your weight. You get what I mean

Yup I've started using alphabounce as my primary gym shoe. One thing about Ultra boost though is that if I don't hypebeast lace them and tie them normal I can wear them longer. Hypebeast lacing looses some support.
yes you are right never tried ultraboost (but I do have 12 pureboost dpr) , I had first gen alphabounce, wore it while travelled In HK last year, walked 8am to 10pm everyday for 3 days and it was comfortable, never felt like I wanted to take off the shoes, unlike say vapormax, or even my favorite pureboost DPR, you want to remove them after few hours.
For walking, I wouldn’t pay so much for the ultraboost. I used to walk miles and miles on my leather work shoes with wooden midsoles! During my work travels, i may extend a few days to travel and I bring only one pair of shoes. My black leather work shoes. I am very particular about shoes when it comes to running because the wrong shoes will make my leg ache. Any cheap $30 sneakers would work fine for me if I am not running or hiking up a mountain

I wore the original alphabounce in leather suede for 6 years straight until i could find another pair in my size. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, it was so broken down from wear it was literally falling off my foot. just can't fking find the 1st iteration any more, imo it's better than the mesh version.
I get that a lot from the ultra boost too. It's not every boost model, I think it's because the boost on the ub is more firm. I wear my pure boost 1.0 for long walks and I get no burning sensation and it feels more comfy TBH.
I own multiple pairs of ultraboost and alphabounce shoes. Hands down tho, alphabounce is wayyy better in my opinion. I’ve gotten blisters wearing ultraboosts all day, but alphabounce just gives me the best all around comfort and I can wear them all day with no problems. I wish adidas would release more of the alphabounce shoes. Comparatively, there are wayyy more ultraboosts on the market than there are alphabounce. My favorites are the alphabounce em, and the alphabounce instinct.
To be honest. My ManaBounce shoes get me thru long walks the best. Also have the Alphabounce, PureBoost, and the UB 3.0s. Funny that I only paid 20 bux for the Manas for black Friday last year. Glad I got em. Love all my Adidas shoes tho.
Interesting review! I haven't tried alphabounce but I feel that it might be like Nike's lunarlon - it's so comfortable when walking. For a more static usage (like the ultraboost that you mentioned) Nike's cloudfoam is very comfortable, as is Nike's Run 2017 model, which has a nice soft squishy outer sole feel.
I agree with you that alphabounce is more consistently squishy when compared to boost. even with the eqt my feet have been spoiled by its comfort so it's just another shoe to me... like you said, alphabounce is not AS comfortable but I notice it every time.
Hi dude Today I got my brand new pair of alphabounce em.I ran 6 km with them. After the run I noticed that there was a thin layer of rexine kinda thing on the outsole which was coming out. The outsole rubber under it is good. Is there anything to worry? Did you experience the same thing bro?
I've bought Reacts recently. I used Alphabounce before and I gotta say the Reacts feel better, for running at least, for walking I coudn't really tell the difference since I don't walk 500 miles lol

I'm glad I was able to help you out. From my experience, Nike Zoom is similar to boost. So you may or may not gain foot fatigue from zoom as well.

Hi, most of the shoes of today are very very comfortable. You just need to lace them up properly believe me. If you loosen up the laces thats where the problem start to come in. Remember your foot has enough cusion already, so wearing a shoes with it increases the comfort. Just lace them up properly
If wanna talk about style I do not understand why Ultraboost is more style ? I mean, the boost sole (of all boost model) after a period of used time will become kind of dirty looking, the bright white color when out of the box will be gone and replace by some color of mud, dirt,... anything can left a color on the boost sole. But bounce sole seems still keep the color well as out of the box, it look much cleaner at least. So for style i think bounce is better, boost (or Yezzy) just more famous in style market by advertising and celebrities
Enough information for me to differ between boost or bounce. So basically boost is not okay for long period of walking or long running while bounce more stable n comfortable. Boost is esthetically nice while bounce was functional. Very good review.

my food goes numb too because boost is always pushes your feet away. Unlike Bounce which absorbs your weight. You get what I mean

Yup I've started using alphabounce as my primary gym shoe. One thing about Ultra boost though is that if I don't hypebeast lace them and tie them normal I can wear them longer. Hypebeast lacing looses some support.

yes you are right never tried ultraboost (but I do have 12 pureboost dpr) , I had first gen alphabounce, wore it while travelled In HK last year, walked 8am to 10pm everyday for 3 days and it was comfortable, never felt like I wanted to take off the shoes, unlike say vapormax, or even my favorite pureboost DPR, you want to remove them after few hours.
For walking, I wouldn’t pay so much for the ultraboost. I used to walk miles and miles on my leather work shoes with wooden midsoles! During my work travels, i may extend a few days to travel and I bring only one pair of shoes. My black leather work shoes.
I am very particular about shoes when it comes to running because the wrong shoes will make my leg ache.
Any cheap $30 sneakers would work fine for me if I am not running or hiking up a mountain

I wore the original alphabounce in leather suede for 6 years straight until i could find another pair in my size. Most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, it was so broken down from wear it was literally falling off my foot. just can't fking find the 1st iteration any more, imo it's better than the mesh version.
I get that a lot from the ultra boost too. It's not every boost model, I think it's because the boost on the ub is more firm. I wear my pure boost 1.0 for long walks and I get no burning sensation and it feels more comfy TBH.

I only wear boost and I have no problem with wearing them every day and I have never had any warm numbness while wearing them

I own multiple pairs of ultraboost and alphabounce shoes. Hands down tho, alphabounce is wayyy better in my opinion. I’ve gotten blisters wearing ultraboosts all day, but alphabounce just gives me the best all around comfort and I can wear them all day with no problems. I wish adidas would release more of the alphabounce shoes. Comparatively, there are wayyy more ultraboosts on the market than there are alphabounce. My favorites are the alphabounce em, and the alphabounce instinct.

To be honest. My ManaBounce shoes get me thru long walks the best. Also have the Alphabounce, PureBoost, and the UB 3.0s. Funny that I only paid 20 bux for the Manas for black Friday last year. Glad I got em. Love all my Adidas shoes tho.
I agree. I did a lock in and since I know that ultraboost are comfy I wore em but they got uncomfortable
I bought the alphabounce hpc ams. These are great, I love them. It's a different version of these alphabounce though.
Interesting review! I haven't tried alphabounce but I feel that it might be like Nike's lunarlon - it's so comfortable when walking. For a more static usage (like the ultraboost that you mentioned) Nike's cloudfoam is very comfortable, as is Nike's Run 2017 model, which has a nice soft squishy outer sole feel.

I agree with you that alphabounce is more consistently squishy when compared to boost. even with the eqt my feet have been spoiled by its comfort so it's just another shoe to me... like you said, alphabounce is not AS comfortable but I notice it every time.

Today I got my brand new pair of alphabounce em.I ran 6 km with them.
After the run I noticed that there was a thin layer of rexine kinda thing on the outsole which was coming out.
The outsole rubber under it is good.
Is there anything to worry?

I used Alphabounce before and I gotta say the Reacts feel better,

In my opinion alphbounce are the best and very durable. But everyone is different and react different to the materials.
