Foxcote is really a slogger ! the NYMR certainly gives loco's a good workout. Not many preserved railways compare in my opinion. Thanks for sharing Brian
What a show. With Foxcote Manor at The North York Moors Railway performing this well , the gala is going to be hard to beat, in my opinion. Definitly a highlight for the Fall Steam Season.
The effect of curves is very noticeable with the speed down to 6 mph at one point. It's difficult to see why 7822 struggled so much because near the end the loco appears to be blowing off though it had been eased somewhat. Nice video - thanks.

In many visits to this line I cant remember a Loco struggling quite as much as this one on a dry day.

I'm one of those who wished Bittern could have made it but then this great loco might be overshadowed,
