- I couldn't live without my Vitamix Blender! I have been blending with Vitamix for almost a decade, and have had the chance to get my hands on over a dozen different machines.
So today, I am going to answer the question, "Which Vitamix is the Best?" in this Vitamix Comparison and Buying Guide! I compare 5 different models (S-30, E-310, Professional Series 750, 780 and A3500) and answer many questions about buying a Vitamix blender, such as: Do I need a Vitamix? Which Vitamix to buy? Should I buy a refurbished Vitamix? Where to buy a Vitamix? And so much more!

The difference in the motors does not mean that one is actually more powerful than the other. The ones with the 2.2 motors also have the wider jars with the larger blades, thus the reason for the need for the extra hp. The ones with the 2 hp motors blend the same as the ones with the 2.2 hp motors.
I bought a vitamix 20 years ago and it is so well built you do not need to buy another. My vitamix is still roaring and will never break .. I say when will you die and it never will. the best USA product
I do not think my vitamix will ever die.
The touch screen looks nice but more things can go wrong...who needs a wireless blender come on....I love my Vitamix with the buttons...Not having specific blending buttons was never an issue...I guess this machine would appeal to the new generations...love vitamix! I have 2 for almost 10 years! Thanks for the video, it’s nice to see how far Vitamix has come....
I thought the same thing but I have been blending with my A3500 for 4 years now and I LOVE it. Never once had an issue with the touch screen.
I bought my vitamix in the year of 2000, the model 5000, it's called the total nutrition center. It is the best investment I have ever made. I can live with out silver and gold, but I can not live without my Vitamix. I used it at least 4 times a week, especially I don't like fruits and vegetables, l put all in the Vitamix, and I just enjoy. I am very pretty with beautiful skin and I believe that is what have me so healthy with long life. I will be 72 years old on my next birthday. I volunteer 3 days a week and sometimes more. L am full of vitality. Blessings Vitamix. I have also introduced it to many people.

I purchased my Vitamix from QVC about 4 years ago; I think it's the 5200 model. It's a similar model type as the E310 but a much larger blender container (64 oz.). I also purchased the separate grinder blender attachment so I could grind my spices and grains. I love my Vitamix blender!! I have made countless smoothies, sherberts, ice cream flours etc... Thank you for your review! I just got rid of my cusinart blender/food processor and I am in desperate need of a new appliance. I was thinking about buying Breville and then my friend suggested Ninja, I was almost sold on buying that until I saw your video. You may have single-handedly convinced me to go with a Vitamix. Not sure I can afford right now but seems like a great investment and can't wait to make the purchase.

Ive now got the to blending cup starter kit too, I wish all the blenders come with this right out of the box instead of an additional cost.
I love love love my professional 500 but these new touchscreen look amazing. Maybe in ten years whenever mine dies I'll upgrade.

I have the Vitamix my grandfather owned more than 20 years ago and it still works but would like to purchase an updated model. Thanks for the information. I will definitely get a newer model before years end.

Laura...my old blender is leaking smoothie out underneath so I've been doing extensive research online and even bought 3 different blenders believing the reviews but returning them because they didn't perform well (I mean, NutriBullet, Ninja, Instant Pot Ace, etc.). I read a few bad reviews about Vitamix and was afraid of the price (I'm retired on a fixed income). But I have to have my organic smoothies every day and I want to make nut butters. Then I ran across YOUR VIDEO and as of an hour ago, I now own the A3500 reconditioned blender that I ordered from a super nice/generous guy at Vitamix. He gave me an addition $50 off. BECAUSE OF YOU, I OWN THE VITAMIX A3500!!!! I won't get it for several days so don't know if it will meet my expectations, but I'll let you know with a new comment. I purchased a lemongrass Explorian on QVC a couple of months ago. It came with a dry container included. It seems QVC is the only retailer that has lots of color choices. It's a great machine. I don't know how I ever lived without one.

Great review, I went through all of those choices and bought the A3500, which I love the texture of the blend, I had Nutribullet, and then Wolfgang Puck and was NEVER satisfied with the quality of the blend. I love using the App and the Perfect Blend Scale that pairs with it.

I just moved into a much smaller space and am finally going to invest in a Vitamix for versatility (live that you can use this one appliance to replace many that I used before). @@joyfoodsunshine I ended buying the 750 pro. I borrowed my mother in law's e310 first. Just to compare .I had a ninja. Vitamix definitely makes it much smoother.
I got a good deal from QVC. They had the 750 pro with the bonus dry grains container etc. for $460 . Was so cheap because it's teal. Wasn't my favorite color but actually doesn't look bad in my kitchen.

I am really liking the Vitamix s30 just because it has the on the go cup and I'm still a student so I have to make my juice and get out the door since my mornings are always very rushed I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blender

We have the small S30 Vitamix and I would always buy this again and again. The benefit is simply that you can unscrew the blades which makes it so easy to clean a) the container and b) the blades.

Thanks for helping me decide which to buy. My S30 has died...after eleven years. But I'm happy to move to something a big bigger. My first Vitamix - the bigger - went to my granddaughter. My second went to my son when I decided to go very small. My problem was it was just too small for me. Still, I stuck with it eleven years! Time for the E310 which seems a good middle ground for me as a single person.
Was s30 very noisey?

The Ascent model is a BETTER buy than the 780.The Ascent is my favorite model along with my ‘Quiet One” hooded commercial blender.This one has an even more powerful motor than the Ascent and is quieter.I can use the small 48 oz Ascent jar in the Quiet one! Really like both machines and use them equally.Bought both through VM.And extra mixing jars for them.I also downloaded the “ Perfect Blend” program and can use it with the Ascent. AMAZING!
I have the perfect blend scale too and LOVE it! I agree about the Ascent being a better buy!
Throughout the years I have owned four Vitamix blenders and as you mentioned, they are amazing machines. I currently have the A3500 in black stainless and I love it. I also have every available accessory, less the dry grain container. That said, why do you suppose the 7500 is more expensive considering it is less versatile? Great Video! The black stainless is my favorite too! I honestly am not sure why the 750 and 780 are more expensive than the 3500! I have wondered the same thing!

Any chance you could let me know which models blender jars fit the same..interchangeable. I have a stainless steel blender jar that fits my 5300 and am wondering what other models it would fit.

2.2HP isn't the highest power blender Vitamix offer. The Vitamix Vitaprep 3 has a 3HP motor. It's the model all the chefs use.
Like your video graphics. The style of lettering. Content.
I do think the a3500 could have been better served with toggle switches for a flagship model. And instead of having "flat touch sensitive buttons (presets)" I would have preferred the dail. Much more easier and practical to use.
Hope you''re still making videos. If only Vitamix would come out with some new models.. Post 2018. it is 2020 now...but with the COVID19...I guess we won't see innovation till maybe 20121 when people hopefully will be allowed to go back to work. Quarantine is lifted.

When I try using the smoothie preset, am I supposed to use the tamper? Because both times I’ve tried without, nothing was moving in the container, and in fear of breaking it, I turned it to manual, added more water and blended until it looked ok... had I been more patient, would it have started blending on its own?
Hey Gerry! I use the tamper almost every time I blend because I really love thick, cold smoothies which means I use a lot of frozen ingredients and the mixture is thick! If you'd rather just set it and forget it and use the smoothie setting then I recommend adding more liquid to your blend. Always add the liquid ingredients first and the whole fruits and greens on top!
Hi , we are a young vegan family of 4. We use our food processor and blender very frequently.i have never owned Vitamix before and after some research and the reviews of Vitamix seems to do wonders. However I am very confused on which model to purchase. I would really appreciate if you can guide me through a little please. I'm looking for one to make coconut butter, sweet pastes, as well as the usual blending, pulsing, etc., at superior power. How does it do with nuts and herbs?

How do I get to vitamix website?
What does the a3500 not have that most would want? Toggle switches. and a more useful feature would be a timer that can tell you how long you've been blending...more than the programmable one it does have. Which I doubt most will actually use....much. Best chocie IMHO would be the a2300. Has all you DO need.
There is a timer that shows how long you've been blending! It's great!

Hey, our family is in the market for a new blender. After extensive research and loads of recommendations we have narrowed it down to either the ninja or the vita mix. Truthfully the Vitamix comes with higher recommendations. So now that we are trying to decide on a specific model. We live in Canada and Costco has a particular model on sale. Vitamix Explorian E320 + Personal Cup Adapter. On the Vitamix site they have a reconditioned model that is of great interest. Certified Reconditioned Venturist V1200. So now the million dollar question is which one do we select. Anyone have any additional thoughts, advice or suggestions. Any particular features that make one or the other stand out. It's a big investment and we want to make sure we make the right choice.
I would get the Venturist model because it has self-detect technology and can be paired with all the new accessories Vitamix is releasing.
What about sound? Which blender is the quietest? We have a another company’s blender and it sounds like a plane taking off. Thx!
No blender will be silent, but I have 5 kids and they all sleep through my smoothie making in the early AM.

Hey Carolyn! I store mine under my counter with the container next to it instead of on top of the base since it's too tall to fit under the cabinets! So that could be an option for you!

When you buy a vitamix how do you know if its reconditioned ? Also if you do buy a reconditioned blender does it void the warranty
You have to specifically purchase a reconditioned model - and it is labeled as such on the website. They have a category of "buying reconditioned." Most reconditioned blenders still come with at least a 5 year warranty!

Hey! Vitamix has an entire line of blenders made for commercial use! You would likely want to check those out for your restaurant!

Hey! It might be an unpopular opinion but it's not my favorite model! It has the same functionality as the Explorian but it's more expensive. So if you're going to spend that much on a blender I'd prefer the A3500! But a Vitamix is a Vitamix, you really can't go wrong with ANY of the models! I do talk about it in the blog post that is linked. I did own one at one point!
Can I make nut butter in S30? Like Almond butter?
No. I'd recommend the explorian if you want to make nut butters but still want a small blender.
Why is the 780 more? It seems the A3500 ties or exceeds it except the weight.
I am honestly unsure why the price is more! That's why I recommend the 3500!
