This film was so goddamn powerful and inspiring. Annette Bening and Jodie Foster were marvels to watch.
I’m from UK and never heard of Diana Nyad. This film is mind blowing. Superbly acted by all involved. I’m now reading and watching everything I can about this amazing woman and her best friend Bonnie. Mission accomplished because the team “NEVER GAVE UP” 👏👏👏👍

I adore both of these great actresses. I especially love that aside from their fine acting, both were known for their beauty, yet neither of them is trying to look 29 again. They resisted the pressure of Hollywood to look forever young, and they look so much better than most people who’ve had work done.

Benning such a great actress. Once so gorgeous and glamorous, she transforms herself for roles. Not afraid of aging in front of the camera. No make up, just her at this age! Incredible actress! Risk taker! Foster, of course! Both fine actresses!

i got to see the movie at the zurich film festival. such a powerful message to all women: to never give up, to believe in yourself, to surround yourself with people who support you but also challenge you. and don’t listen to the people who say it can’t be done. both annette bening and jodie foster‘s performance in this movie is extrordinary and so powerful.

I’ve seen many outstanding European actresses allow themselves to grow older naturally and it is beautiful. They seem to have concentrated more on their art and perhaps that has given them freedom to be more authentic in their acting.

I loved this movie bc Diana Nyah has been my inspiration my whole life, and I adore Benning & Foster as much as I admire Jimmy Chin’s work. Seeing the masked up people in this outtake just ruined a lot of admiration I had for this film.
Fantastic movie!! Annette Benning and Jodie Foster were amazing and hope they win Oscars for their outstanding performances! I had the opportunity to meet Diana Nyad where I worked several years ago and she was an amazing and inspiring speaker. I got a picture with her and autograph and she was so encouraging as I talked with her about my Ironman training and my love for swimming. I was so fortunate to meet her and will always remember that day!
It’s hard to fall in love with a character that is a narcissist. But Nyad’s drive is admirable.
The loyalty of Nyad’s “crew” is amazing.

I don't care about all the controversy surrounding Nyad's record. The fact that she even wanted to TRY the swim was inspiring for this 62-year-old who isn't done either.
