Fabulous painting of this little owl. I have a heck of a time putting down my first washes dark enough to begin with to allow for the fading when it dries. When you paint in your washes I think, oh no too dark but when they dry they look perfect. Thanks for this great tutorial. I'm going to sign up for your classes soon.

I prefer cotton paper, and I like cold pressed most often. :)
