Dope as usual! You inspired me to get an AR MK2 and I love it! I’m intrigued by the Octatrak, is it worth getting or just stick with the AR?

Thanks a lot! I gotta say, the octatrack can do a lot of crazy things very easily, but it does overlap with the AR quite a lot. I’d say stick to the AR for now, and try to learn it inside out. I’m still learning new things after almost 2 years now, and getting better at what you already have is always better than getting something new and having to divide your attention!

@@jacobthesleepy8980 I'd have to say for hip hop, the Octatrack is overkill. If you just do moody boombap the AR is fine. I've used the OT since 2010 when it came out, and it's far more capable than any other samplers. Capable of much more than just hip-hop. The same could be said for the AR, but there are many more limitations with it. There is hardly ever an instance where there is something that I'm incapable of doing on the OT. Elektrons greatest achievement. 🔥

After the last updates it works great with the Analog Rytm, they really play on eachothers strengths!

@@Unaqer I sequenced the sp with the AR, then sampled it into the AR for saving purposes, and then used the sp as a master effect!
