Gum smacking, heavy breathing, goblins laughing in the background, doesn't matter. This is still putting gold, no one explains basics better than Feldberg, thanks for posting!!!
Yeah, I seriously want to thank the author of this and Dave Feldberg for putting the clinic on. I've been playing disc golf for quite a while and have struggled a lot with putting, having gone back and forth on "push" putting while never really getting comfortable with it. When he said it should have been called "shovel" putting, it made sense for the first time. I started working on it again and saw an immediate difference. Thank you!
That's because Dave is the greatest disc golf clinician of all time. Check his 2011 putting clinic, which covers this ground, and some other stuff too: ua-cam.com/video/N_7RPOmSSsU/v-deo.html
I couldn't even pay attention to the clinic because all I could hear was the inconsiderate camera man who did nothing but roodly chomp on chewing gum and breathe into the camera.....
didn't really bother me, just figured if your going to film a professional doing a clinic for other peoples benefit, then film it in a professional manner.
Yes. But I can't publish that one publicly sorry, as Dave will be making a commercial video from it, and I must respect his wishes about what I can and can't publish. I can tell you that the video will be worth buying though.
Is anyone else puzzled by Rico being labeled as a spush putter? That guy is pure spin! I see little-to-no difference between his form and Eric McCabe's, who's a well-known spinner. McBeth, on the other hand, is much closer to what I'd call spush putting. It's a push putting stance and initial dip, but then a spin putting load and release.
I always figured a spin putt was less up/down and more of a parallel swing. Pure push/pitch/shovel putt is Dave's style. McBeth is clearly doing a hybrid, if not more up/down. He also backswings to the inside of his left leg, which is somewhat in contrast to what Dave is teaching (from center)
Feldberg advocates in this video to slightly curl the wrist to CREATE rotation, his popular 2011 push putt video stated there should be no spin. Great info overall
Everyone bitching about the gum chewing, who cares, you get the idea, how about some respect that the guy took time to film it and share with others for free... It is what it is, why bitch...have some respect...o yea in this day and age that is hard to come by.
Justin Seersma In the meantime, he'll tell you to go fuck yourself. Hahaha what a big man. What's up with dudes who chew gum like secretaries while mouth-breathing? This is just unwatchable...
would have loved to have watched this instructional vid, but one of my pet peeves is people that chew with their mouth open....and whoever is running the camera chews loudly. i only made it a couple minutes before i had to stop.
if you dont like the gum chewing or breathing then next clinic you want to see travel to it an watch it so you dont bitch at someone for taking the time during the clinic to hold a camera up for half hour just so others could check it out. just chew a piece of gum on your own and you wont even know whos chewing your hearing
+That Guy lol some people are annoyed by weird little things, they are often called pet peeves. another of mine is people online that are so brave when they wont should their own names. lol
+Larry Krechting yeah but what Im saying is if you dont like the gum chewing go to the clinic yourself instead of complaining that this guy instead of paying 100% attention at the time made sure to record it and put it on here for people to watch. even with the chewing i heard and understood the entire video. And my real name is Chris Rowe from Peterborough Ontario Canada. My facebook pic is me throwing disc off the tee. sorry my youtube handle isnt my real name like 80% of the people on here but i have no problem with anyone knowing who i am. so i guess i cant be a pet peeve of yours anymore. youre welcome.
wow only a half hour? but I wanted to hear dave feldberg talk about him self and why he's so amazing for about that amount of time. damn. wonder if someone finally told him to shut up.
Breathing yes, the chewing was livable. The camera work was bad too, sideways shot. The breathing made it hard to hear what the speaker David Feldberg was saying. The guy doing this should have waited to post on the computer to edit the footage with words below.
I did not mind the gum chewing EVERYBODY it was not a problem on the film as that blocked out some idiots who were talking at points and I could still hear David Feldberg. I did not like the wind or heavy breathing as in some parts you could not hear speaker David Feldberg. Also props to the camera dude who was answering the questions Chris Davis, no one else tried on some. I think it had to do with the country's version of english and the way David worded his question for an american audience.

This video changed my life!!! Thanks Dave Feldberg! Thank you as well for the video!

very informative, thanks guys...

The rude breather man advises you to play hide and go fuck yourself. Good day, sir!
Misophonia. Seek treatment!

Chris Davies super pro gum chewing and a witty comeback. he must be the coolest.
Chris Davies chomp chomp chomp fucko
The old guy with the blue shirt and red hat doesn't look like he needs a clinic - drilling every shot into basket
once I heard the chewing everything else became a blur..
How do I download the Steve Rico?
Oh there at a mountain bike skills park. Nice! I started playing more disc golf on my downtime from mountain biking.
It's a good combination!
If you are raising your arm to putt, where do you follow through?...center chain, top band, above the band?
Great tips. Any footage of the driving clinic he was talking about?
Yes. But I can't publish that one publicly sorry, as Dave will be making a commercial video from it, and I must respect his wishes about what I can and can't publish. I can tell you that the video will be worth buying though.

that gum must be good

Who chews gum like that?
Justin Seersma

Hello, Master !
Glad I didn't read the comments til the vid was done, cause I didn't notice the gum chewing. ha!

Good stuff here, thanks.....Maybe this video was sponsored by Big League Chewing Gum.......LOL

Everyone is talking about the gum chewing. I didn't really notice it.
All I can hear is breathing and chewing. I think I still hear it after stopping the video

Am I the only one who slowed down Dave's first jump putt and saw that it was completely legal? Or am I wrong?
AIM LEFT LOL, great clinic!
Omg, that loud chewing/breathing!! Can't watch this!!
Luckily i heard little breatheing and chewing. Good instruction.
I like Feldberg, but he doesnt commit to his putts and misses most short and stalled out.
*gum chewing noise INTENSIFIES*
Camera person chewing gum in the mic. Moist smacking, gnawing, and its horrible. Blegghhhh.
I got like 5 seconds into this. I hate chewing
im watching in 2017 jan 7th. i dont hear any gum!
All I could here was chewing gum. Inconsiderate.
