💥79 SERIES LANDCRUISER TOURING UPGADES

- Here is our first of two episodes on our 79 series landcruiser touring upgrades.
In this episode we replace the exhaust and shock absorbers to make the cruiser look and ride better. Our shocks we replaced were on the cruiser when we bought it at 70000kms and the cruiser now has 150000kms on it so we thought it was a good idea to replace them. The exhaust was rusted and we took the opportunity to replace it while we had the chance and we were not looking for sound or anything just replacing the rusted one.
We hope you enjoyed this episode and look forward to sharing episode two with you and then hopefully we back on the road in our updated setup.

good to see you had the Victorian work boots on.
Well done for having a go yourself. The car is looking good.
Thank you 😁
Hope you put anti seize grease on the threads of the sensors before installing them?
Cruiser is looking good, keep the great work up.
thank you
Good Jobs folks. Keen to see what else you have done.
Thank you
Good stuff.. looks like fun....
congrats on getting the exhaust and shocks in takes time but better to do these things your self makes it easier to understand your vehicle would luv to catch up if your ever in Tassie do have a hot spot out door bath lined up for the boss
Thank you. Had Tassie planned but with filming etc
Great video guys carnt wait till the next one❤ you guys
Thank you 😁
Lovely Ep guys.
thank you
Good job, I probably would have replaced the bolts for suspension and kept the old ones as back up, now you have upgraded the exhaust probably look at a hi flow air filter then a remap, I know money doesn't grow on trees, but I don't think you would regret it.
Thank you. Its getting a remap and tune 😁
love your content guys keep it up, hopefully we will see you in WA soon , Safe Travels
Thank you so much.. Appreciate it
can't go wrong with gsl, great company
Thank you. I have only heard good things
GsL great choice
Thank you
I think you also should do some rust protection to the underside of your tray next ! But I think ya did a great job doing it yourself
Not a bad idea, thank you for the feed back and comment 😁
Luv ya work boots!
😂😂 thank you
Did you look into the replacement dpf gsl fab do?
Cost and performance outcomes not worth it?
Didn't look into it. Just kept the dpf as is
How long do you cook your Tomahawk steaks for. ❤️
Have to ask mate what protects the chrome shafts on shocks
As far as I know its just the shields that came with it.
At least with a quality shock you can get rebuilt every 80k or so so you do not need to replace all the time!
As for the exhaust … best thing is the DPF (delete) and use the hi flo GSL 🥳
That's the idea 🙌🏻
Hey, where was that camp ground?? I presume its close to Melbourne??
Will let you know in the next two weeks 😁
2K for an exhaust......??? GSL do do deals for youtube content providers. Still, getting under the car and doing shocks and exhaust will familiarise yourself with everything else under there. Just make sure you re torque everything again after another couple of months....well done.
Thank you
Its always good to do these things ya self, but it's never a 5min job, some of the simplest jobs often take way longer than ya think. Anti seize for future!, prep prep prep!
Problem with instructions today, they are written by engineers, not actual people who work on the vehicles!
💯. Took a day but at the end we got it done and to be honest, was a bit of fun 😁
Imagine owning a 79 series with that canopy and worrying about how it looks. Then dropping 2k on a staino exhaust cuz the old one was rusty.
Don’t try to sound like an Australian, it doesn’t work!
