Great instructional video. I noticed that you used a jack stand under the car but I didn’t see when you put it there. What are you holding up, and is it necessary.
Hi Paul, if you are referring to the jack stand shown at 1:30 or at another point in the video, I do so for safety precautions. I always like to have as much reassurance that I will be safe and a backup just in case one of them fail. Hope that helps!
@@paulbatts6899 Hi there, the brand is called RhinoRamps and I personally picked them up from my local Autozone but I will include links to where you can find them: Autozone: www.autozone.com/engine-and-vehicle-lift/ramp/p/flotool-12-000lb-capacity-rhino-ramp/89618_0_0?cmpid=SPL:US:EN:AD:NL:1000000:GEN:pdp Walmart: www.walmart.com/ip/Hopkins-RhinoGear-RhinoRamps-Vehicle-Ramp-Pair-12-000lb-Black-Resin-GVW-Capacity-11914MI-2-Pieces/19526658?wl13=3795&selectedSellerId=0&adid=222222222326001325940_1155588564860545_lia&wmlspartner=wmtlabs&wl0=e&wl1=o&wl2=c&wl3=72224507419138&wl4=pla-4575823825849689&wl5=&wl6=&wl7=&wl10=Walmart&wl11=Local&wl12=19526658_0&wl14=autozone%20rhino%20ramps&veh=sem&msclkid=18bd9a48e04811af891eff70e3b5a38d Amazon: a.co/d/ddvj0hN
No computer involvement was needed, the is no wiring here. Used more for bike racks and other attachments. I can recommend a video that helped me wire up the bronco to have the hitch wiring so that I could take a uhaul trailer but other than that, I don't believe there is any need to modify computer settings
This trailer hitch is rated for 3,500 lbs. gross trailer weight and 525 lbs. tongue weight. I will say though you will want to make sure that whatever you are towing, your car/truck is rated for it as well. Link to the hitch is in the description. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Thanks for the reply. One more question: what brand is the ramps you used, and did you get them on Amazon?

We are trying to install a hitch in our bronco sport too through Uhaul but they said it needs modification. Unfortunatelt, we just lease this vehicle😢
And how did you enable the computer mode to detect when you have a trailer hooked up and make the appropriate adjustments etc?

How much weight can you load up on a hitch like that? Like a hitch storage carrier type load. Or motorcycle/dirt bike carrier.

That's not a Bronco.
It's a Bronco Sport.
Hmmmmm, good point!
