combine harvester is how good half life 2 could have been if there were big polution clouds they didn't realize how big of a difference clouds can make. I also think it fits the combine to make the air toxic for humans so the advisors can breathe ( that was in the beta)
Played this for the first time on hard mode, and this music really adds to the tension when your health is at a pixel left. Feeling the pulsing on your controllers while combine are spraying you down and hear antlions running towards you
no hate but it seems like the new music guy jus watched some portal and l4d themes, some of the themes are good in this track but they don't seem very kelly bailyish
@@UnkleDunklee Mike Morasky has done great work for L4D and Portal. I'm sure it's difficult to emulate Bailey's work, it being so unique. I do appreciate he got the dirty drum vibe in the combat themes pretty accurately.
Enrico Bianchi I might get whooshed for this, but Combine Harvester is an unused track from Half Life 2 that was most likely an inspiration for this track
The beginning is very suspenseful with a lot of dread. I don't know what that shuddering instrument is, like something being dragged across an uneven surface, but that is very horror-esque and fitting for Bloodborne.
it plays in chapter 9 during the fight with both combine and antlions, however due to the way the dynamic music works the strings hardly ever come into play. which sucks tbh. also probably why it was so hard to remember where it played.
...
...Alright, I'm convinced:
This is *_ABSOLUTELY_* Mike's cover of _Combine Harvester._
Y'know, the fucking _GLORIOUS COMBINE ANTHEM._
Fucking _rad,_ dude.
Long Live The Universal Union
This is 100% a remix of it.

Sounds like “flight of the bumblebee” if the bees were *really* pissed off. Very fitting
Flight of the murder hornets
when this music played i thought it was the end game battle
Best song in the game imo, it makes this fight feel so intense.
Now *THIS* sounds like it's inspired by the old combine theme from the hl2 beta
What theme are you referring to?
@@games528 combine harvester
Everyone gangsta till they hear the garbled, hyper vocoded "ECHO-6 Viscon on Active Hostile, Daggers Free" followed by a Wallhammers Shotgun loading
I love 1:37 , such a nice callback to that theme that plays when you first get to the QZ
This theme and those from the Vault are the best
this sounds like the beginning of a boss fight and i love it

Loved it when this song came up while playing. It felt so cool!
Very strong l4d vibes with this one.

@@UnkleDunklee lol 'the new music guy' is the one who DID the portal and l4d themes
I loved the Portal 2 soundtrack personally.
@@UnkleDunklee ... You do realize the guy who composed these tracks *did* make the Portal and L4D music right?
"All of us will die, but first we will live!!!"
this battle genuinely made me stress the fuck out and is currently my favorite fight in the game
Reminds me of combine harvester.
ha get it?
Enrico Bianchi

@@lunathecrusader It wasn't actually an unused track, but a bonus one for the OST. They had no intentions of adding it into the game to begin with.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 ahhh I never knew that
The official name for this song is called Terin #6.
2:54
I don't know why, but it reminds me of that score from that Predator scene where Billy sacrifices himself
spoiler alert
@@da_endleg3204 Bruh the movie is older than I am
@@Helljumper425 Same, but I haven't watched it, and I'm sure a bunch of other people haven't. (I have no interest in predator but other people might)
@@da_endleg3204 I'm pretty sure everyone who is interested in seeing has seen it... It's a very old movie.

oh no, now im remembering outlast for some reason. fuck that game.
wal
don`t know why it reminds me of Bloodborne.
May be the dissonance and vertigo-strings. Bloodborne's OST uses a lot of that stuff for its gothic horror sound.

where does this play? no way i never noticed it.
i guess you didnt notice it CAUSE IT FITS SO WELL WITH THE GAME that even i didnt notice it at first

3:53 this was the part I’ve heard in blue guys Alien war
This sounds more like BF1 OST than the BF1 OST.
What does Terin 6 mean?
It's the name of the building that you had to get to during the combat sequence
