I really enjoyed the way this film was structured. The thread connecting each generation to the water and the fishing was great, and the children at the end was a masterful touch. Great work. Immensely entertaining.
Remembering when he was the Iona postman and his father looked after the post office. Alaister dreaming of becoming wealthy from his own fishing boat. Bought one, but quite a drama getting it back to Iona. Needed a lot of corking and wood replacing when beached … but in the end seems that the fishing life worked out great for him :-)
Great little film, I can almost smell the sea. I want to be there!
Lovely stories. Can't wait to get back for some fresh crabs from the Creel!
This wee film is just wonderful. It brings back so many lovely memories of the Ross of Mull and Iona.
Very interesting. Mull is full of stories!
Thx for posting...I live in North Norfolk where the fishing is much the same
That was absolutely fabulous.
Lovely to see it - well done!!

Alaister too, remembering the dramas when he got his first fishing boat.
