- I tried to compare some similar settings between the two versions.

Massenpanik is a highly adjustable distortion pedal that takes the cascading op-amp gain section from the venerable Providence Stampede (as used by Converge, Amenra et al) and pairs it with a powerful 5 band graphic EQ for ultimate tone sculpting capabilities.
For V2.0 the boost toggle switch has been changed to a potentiometer for greater control over the amount of pre-gain boost. A presence control has also been added to cut or boost the higher frequencies above the treble control to better accommodate brighter or darker amps.
Controls:
level - controls the overall volume
gain - controls the overall gain
b - cut/boost bass at approx. 67hz and 118hz
m - cut/boost low-mids at approx. 375hz
m - cut/boost mids at approx. 800hz
m - cut/boost high-mids at approx. 1.7khz
t - cut/boost treble at approx. 3khz
boost - controls the amount of pre-gain boost (V2.0)
presence - cut/boost frequencies above treble control (V2.0)
Toggle switches:
- 'Diode' - selects between NOS Black Glass Silicon & LED clipping.
- 'Tight' - shaves off low end in the distortion section for less flub and more chug.
Fuck I think i should get one. Sounds perfect for the sound I want in my band: nasty, crunchy, with really strong mids yet still amazingly articulate. Sick

@@PedalsandTea thank you sir. The Mushok is great and I think the stock pickups, which I have, get a lot of hate online unfortunately.
@@DirtyDemos i don't know why... it's the same with the Duncan Designed pickups in my Jazzmaster. People hate on them a lot but I think they sound fine.
Sick - I ordered a V2 the other day when they had a couple up. I should likely see mine arrive tomorrow or the day after. Looking forward to this one, sounds absolutely crushing.

@@DirtyDemos Good catch on the V2 run! I had completely missed it on V1 and have been waiting for it since. I slept through my alarm (I live in Australia) though on the release day of the V2. So far I have no doubt I will. Thanks for making the video!

@@palesama haven't thought it about it yet. I'd probably keep the v2 over the v1 due to the better versatility because of the boost being a potentiometer and having a presence pot as well.
