I'm training, and hope to work part time, but I'm enjoying it. Though I need patience in the register. So many things to know. Lottery wins sales, I need to know the cigarette brands.
Yeah I probably enjoy it cause it's my first job, plus my friend is training me. And also cause the pandemic caused me to stay at home at all times, I really needed to get out 😄
Does anyone know if theirs a policy on 711 where workers can't work alone? My boss seems to love putting people alone for night shift and 2nd shift it definitely feels like that's the easiest time for a 711 to get robbed because we have no door blocking us or the products behind the counter from anyone while in the store
It's only stressful when you have a bunch of people who come in at 2 am high as heck thinking we are some restaurant. Like uhh no this is a gas station(our 711 has a gas station). Sorry you got high all day and now you have the munchies lol. With covid, there have been many 24 hour restaurants that have closed and now I'm the only option. People haven't figured it out yet and I'm not going to work harder because others choose not to. Nope.
I started today it was me and my store manager she left me alone basically my whole shift showed me how to work the machines once then only helped if there was a line
The people can be shitty to deal with especially when they want lottery and can be very entilited I've only worked for 2 months and everyday theirs been one problem at least with the card scanner or people feeling like "the customer is always right" a guy got upset with me because I didn't hand him his scratch tickets when he handed me the money they will get mad over the little things
It was so sad to get a master’s degree in a hopeless country with no job, so I'm about to leave China and work in a 711 in Singapore. Just looking your video😂,thanks for which made me some mentally prepared.
Don't give up too easily on the career you have chosen. You never know where it will take you. I stopped working at 7/11 a long time ago and now I have a much better job. Good luck!

I would love to but unfortunately I’m no longer working there. Scratchers is like what we sell in the drawer, while with the lotto you have to do on the computer, which I remember it was Fantasy 5, Powerball, Megamillions etc. Don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it
@@ducanhtrannn99 So I did that yesterday and now I have learned the cash register, how to use the oven, the food heating box by the cash register. Taking orders by the iphone, the lottery machine processing and understanding which liquor the customer wants is hard.

This is my very first job, so trust me, I’ve been there lol. It’s not that hard, just takes times and repetitions.
Have you tried the lottery machine yet? That's complicated

Do they teach you how to work the cash register and lotto machine and all that ? Or do they just want you to know how to do all of it

It depends on the personality. I guess I was born to become a cashier bc I can literally talk with anyone lol
In the Philippines you're a Sales Associate. But you do all the job all around. HAHA.
