Hello there Luke pal. Irish Villan here. I've been very impressed by BRIGHTON mate. I think what u guys have managed to do since stepping into the top division has been nothing short of phenomenal. Clubs like BRIGHTON & BRENTFORD have been great to watch. Ur style of platy is very eye catching and I think they 6th place finish last season may have been a bit of a curse for Di Zebri. I watch Sussoulo under Zebri in Serie A for a couple of seasons and I was telling UTD fans about him as a good shout for their manager but u guys got him. He's a bloody good manager.
Look I think Brighton fans need to get their feet back on the ground bcos it can become all too easy to lose sight of where u have come from in the last 10-15 years as a football club. I remember u guys playing at that running track. Now u have this beautiful stadium in leafy Hove and ur a top 6 EPL club. U have broken into the 2nd best European Competition as well Luke mate. I'm hoping u guys can go on to build something that is long lasting bcos I remember watching the decline of ur football club. It was very tough to watch clubs like Brighton and Charlton decline so badly and not even have ur own home ground for so many years too. I'm glad ur back flying high again.
My only hope is that u guys, the fans, don't lose ur heads bcos ur in a period of real growth as a football club but it can fall apart very esily in this league if u don't stay supportive of the players and club.
I've been to a lot of PL games over the years but I was a regular every week back in the 1990's when I was football mad. I used to go to midweek games all over England back then just to watch other teams play, not just Villa.
I miss getting to games every week but life gets in the way when ur into ur 50's mate.
Keep going to the games and making great Vlogs too Luke. I enjoy watching other clubs fan bases and what makes them tick.
I wish u guys every success for the rest of the season, except against my lads, LOL, and I would love to see BRIGHTON go on a win a trophy this season for ur brilliant fan base. U have always brought huge numbers to away games. It's something I have always seen and watched for. I always look for the away gates of a few clubs and ur boys bring some support on away days..

Villa fan here - just a bad day at the office for you. We had this against Newcastle so we know how it feels. You dont need me to tell you how good you are right now and you'll 100% bounce back. Yesterday was just a matter of two master tacticians going at each other with one getting it all right and the other all wrong. Villa fan here...was at the match and obviously I'm delighted with the result, but I thought the scoreline did not necessarily truly reflect the difference between the teams and at times, Brighton did play well and could have scored a couple of times. I genuinely hope Brighton continue to play well and disrupt the so called big 6...which we also aim to do.

Vill fan here! Respect guys, just an off game for you, Newcastle did exactly the same to us first game of the season, couple of years ago we knocked 7 against Liverpool but didn't mean a thing at the end of the season it's how games go occasionally, head up and good luck in your next game ;)

It’s three teams that play similar, high line, so if you have pace up front a couple of decent passes and you’re in, didn’t work against Newcastle, and Newcastle failed against Brighton.
I mainly check in when you play Villa, always an entertaining fun vlog, I should check in more👍 Real respect for Brighton, fantastic club, fans and it was great to see our vloggers on like Luke too. I find the best vlogs are the ones that genuinely love football and can relate to other teams and the ups/downs that come with supporting the club you love. So well done on an excellent vlog.
And like Luke said, the scoreline was surprising no one can predict those anomaly type results. Villa played to our full potential and stayed true to Emery's tactics to the end.
I will say no one thought being 2 goals up were enough as you're such a good team, and when the subs came on at half-time you could see the step up and if we hadn't kept focused, kept our game face on, foot on the pedal i am convinced you wld have drawn even.
But I know how you are feeling as we went through something similar at Newcastle 😞 so although easy to say in hindsight, this is a one-off so don't sweat this one. It will help to drive you on, shake it off, go again against Marseille.

As a Villa fan can I just say ..it was one of those days. Everything went for us (take the deflection on Watkins 4th when we were seriously under the cosh) two fortunate goals in the 2nd and 3rd, I don’t think the offside is as bad as that angle makes it look, how the 3rd is allowed I’ve no idea but I’ll take it 🤷🏻♂️ we got whacked in similar fashion by Newcastle, you whacked them and we whacked you 🤷🏻♂️ probably all lose next week. Premier League ay!

As a Villa supporter i must admit I didnt expect that result! I expected a draw at best for us . But to see Brighton players hanging there heads like they did in that first half ! Same as when Villa got turned over by Newcastle earlier in the season - everything they hit went in despite Villa playing ok. Brighton will be top half at a minimum this year barring ridiculous injuries. Great win for the Villa though!

I don't know what the boss was thinking of, Ferguson and Wellbeck never work together and to put a youngster in midfield against a quality Villa midfield was just crazy. We had some bad luck but we gave up after the 4th went in. Shocking.
