Prof. Dr. Tiago Davi Curi Busarello
Thank you! Making a video that explains your thesis is excellent practice and I hope many will do like you!
Thank you very much 😄
Thank you Professor Tiago!
awsome work
Muito bom, Professor!
Thank you, really helpful
If we use an LC filter(no resistance) and Leakage Inductance (Grid side inductance) at inverter output and DC-link Capacitor for inverter input what will be the formula for Kp, Ki, and Discrete filter. Please do the needful
wonderful work!
Thanks. All materials all available
Thank you
Sir, how to replicate this pr controller for the three-phase inverter. can you give me some information about it. I would like to implement for three phase inverter.
Thanks a lot! That's helpful. If we use the LCL filter for inverter, what can be changed in design PR controller?
Hello good day, did you manage to do it for an LCL filter?
it would help me a lot
Dear. Unfortunatelly, this procedure is valid only for L filter. Depending on the values of your LCL, you can approximate the LCL for L (being L1 + L2) and then apply the equations of my paper.
@Tiago Davi Curi Busarello
But LCL actually have a capacitor with a damping resistor. So it is complicated to approximate.
@@m.rgh.i9199 Actually it is not so complicated. See page 314 of the book Grid Converters for Photovoltaic and Wind Power Systems. Depending on the values, L1 + L2 is equal to L of a single filter.
Thanks for the great explanations on your channel and all the material on your page.
I have a question. I only implemented grid controls in the rotating d-q reference frame yet.
There the DC-link voltage is simply regulated by the d-current component.
But how is it done with this kind of resonant control in the stationary (alpha-beta) frame?
Can someone suggest me a source of good explanation for this topic?
since alpha and beta are in stationary frame, PI won't work in suppressing AC reference.
So we need a controller that has an ideally infinite gain at the required operating w = 2*pi*f where f is the operating frequency.
resonant controllers are the key here, you can also use several parallel resonant controllers where each controller suppress different frequency,
Imagine a parallel ideal LC circuit. At a certain frequency the inductive impedance is equal to the capacitive impedance, if you excite this circuit with a voltage, you get an infinite current and that is the transfer function of this circuit , infinity.
So this is the anloge representation of the resonant controller.
good luck.
Did you manage it?
can you use PR controller for voltage too?
Very nice explanations.Really impressed.Thank you Dr.Tiago.i have a question that can we use split capacitor instead of Voltage source as shown in the simulation. If so, what could be the modification in simulation circuit as well as the values of capacitor. Because connecting battery cannot supply reactive power or control reactive power..waiting for your reply.Thank you in advance
Yes you can. You should include a DC current source in paralle with the capacitor of the DC link. In this case, you should include the loop for controlling the DC voltage. Look for the book: Voltage-Sourced Converters in Power Systems. Amirnaser Yazdani (Author), Reza Iravani (Author)
Sir really impressive work .Have you make lectures using powersim?
most of my lectures is using PSIM or Ltspice.
Thank you for your explanations.
Is it possible to make a 3-phase control using PR controllers? In an alpla-beta-zero frame maybe? Thank you
Yes it is possible. Since in alpha-beta the reference is still sinusoidal, the PR controller designed based on my video can be used.
Will a PLL be required here and how? please tell
Yes, it is required. Take a look on my webpage and find some PLLs there. busarello.prof.ufsc.br
If I will use LCL filter then what will be the change of Kp, Ki formula?
Please reply
For specific values of the L1, C and L2, you can use the same formulas, but considering L = L1 + L2 and R = R1 + R2.
I did this in the following paper:
ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9646047
I didn't find simulation file there
Me too.
@@simulationryuuko4846 I also
I don't think that Tiago Davi Curi Busarello shared his simulink files in the web, that's disappointing
sir, I didn't find any matlab simulink file of PR controller
On my webpage, go to the Publication tag. Scroll down until you find a table of my paper Design Procedure for a Digital Proportional-Resonant Current Controller in a Grid Connected Inverter.
In such a table, there are two files File 1 and File 2. One is for matlab and the other is for simulink.
@@Tiago77916 Sir, I couldn't find any simulation files there. Could you send it to me?
@@Tiago77916 No i couldn't find any file sir
please send me the matlab simulink file to chivukulapavan6@gmail.com
Sir,is the pdf of the book is available?
Hello. I'm sorry but the pdf is not available.
i found it on the internet. its availabe
@@SPeeDKiLL45 can you please send me the link?
sir please share how to design analog PR controller design using rms input voltage and current values
Dear Muttumula. I"m sorry but I don't know hot to tune analog PR using voltage and current. I know that you can design an analog PR by drawing the desired frequency response and get the transfer function of such response using Bode diagram techniques.
@@Tiago77916 Thank you sir.You can suggest some research papers to get the function of such response using Bode techniques
@@@ramu_youtubechannel8083. Take a look at classical books of control theory like Modern Control Engineering by Ogata and Control System Engineering by Norman Nise
@@ramu_youtubechannel8083 . There is also a book titled Filtros seletores de sinais
, by Sidnei Noceti Filho. However, this book is written only in portuguese. This book is especifically for getting the transfer function of filters.
sir can you send me your IEEE paper
Sir, please what is your email, then I send to you.
